Group of migrant men praise Biden after crossing US border: ‘President is helping us a lot’

Illegal aliens fearlessly crossed the border in Eagle Pass, Texas, and Bill Melugin, a Fox News reporter, was there to interview a group of men from Venezuela and Cuba to assess exactly how they felt about Biden. They were full of praise for the president.

“NEW: I spoke with this group of men from Venezuela & Cuba moments after they crossed into Eagle Pass, TX. Re: Biden: ‘A president that is helping us a lot. Very strong.’ Says thank you for receiving us. Several say they’ve been traveling for months in bad conditions. @FoxNews,” Melugin tweeted.

Notice that the men appear groomed and clean, unlike what you would expect if you had been traipsing through the desert in the July 100+ degree heat. You there don’t appear to be any injuries or signs of lack of eating or hydration. Their clothes appear clean as well and in good condition. Perhaps the “bad conditions” were on a bus.

A Cuban in the group asked the president to help migrants. He stated he’d like to go to Midland, Texas, or Kentucky where he has family. He is in fear of the Cuban government with good reason. Considering that Biden has been flying and busing illegal immigrants all over the country, his wish will probably be granted.

DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas has implemented a humanitarian parole program that will most likely release these illegal immigrants. Venezuelans, Cubans, Nicaraguans, and Colombians are all eligible under the program because Mexico doesn’t want them and they can’t be rejected via Title 42. Evidently, these men knew all they had to do was cross the border and they would be allowed to stay in the United States.

Melugin is currently in La Joya, Texas where large groups of illegal immigrants are reportedly crossing the Rio Grande River. He has been covering that in-depth and while doing so, the size of the groups has grown. On Thursday, he reportedly saw the largest group of migrants he has seen ever crossing the border.

Groups of families, single adults, and unaccompanied children are everywhere. Melugin wrote that “cartel human smuggling wristbands litter the ground.”

The situation is hellish and is an absolute humanitarian crisis. People are trafficked and drugs are flowing across the border unimpeded. The cartels rule the border, not Biden or any government agency.

Texas Senators John Cornyn and Ted Cruz are leading a group of their Senate colleagues on a tour of the Rio Grande Valley Friday to take a gander at the border. Senators James Lankford (OK), Joni Ernst (IA), John Barrasso (WY), Ron Johnson (WI), and John Hoeven (ND), all Republicans, will take part in the tour.

“The Senators will participate in a night tour of the border with law enforcement, an aerial border tour with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), and meet with local landowners to discuss the impact of the Biden Administration’s open border policies on Texas communities. Additionally, the Senators will receive briefings from the National Border Patrol Council (NBPC) and CBP, as well as the Texas National Guard and the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) to discuss federal and state efforts to secure the U.S.-Mexico border. They will also meet with local elected officials,” a statement from Cornyn’s office said.

There will be a joint press conference in McAllen on Friday following the tour.
