Royal family-hating journo deletes Twitter account after ‘jokes’ about Betty White’s death

Freelance journalist Nylah Burton, who has written articles defending Meghan Markle for numerous outlets, deleted her Twitter account after sending out multiple “jokes” insinuating that Queen Elizabeth should have died instead of actress Betty White, who passed away at the age of 99 on Friday.

“BETTY WHITE IS DEAD!?! Why couldn’t it have been Queen Elizabeth?” the liberal writer tweeted from her now-defunct account a few hours after Betty White’s passing.

“Why not Queen Elizabeth?? The universe took the wrong old white lady smdh,” Burton responded when someone criticized her for the vicious tweet.

Burton has written for outlets such as Bustle, Vox, Bitch Media, and Shondaland and is based out of Chicago. She describes herself as a “sexual assault prevention specialist.”

GB News presenter Dan Wootton tweeted, “What a revolting thing to say – shame on you.”

Three days ago, she reportedly tweeted, according to the Daily Star: “For the low, low price of you signing over the deed to your home and lands to me, I will be your Black Friend.”

And, ironically, four days ago, she also tweeted: “I really don’t understand why people tell bad, mean-spirited jokes and then claim that other people are ignorant or too ‘serious’ if they’re not laughing. Maybe try being actually funny?”

She has a penchant for attacking the Royal Family and expressing her hatred for them. One of her articles that she wrote for Elite Daily is titled, “Black women are not surprised by how the Royals treated Meghan.”

She bloviated in another piece criticizing Prince Harry and Meghan Markle for using the Queen’s nickname Lilibet as their daughter’s given name, contending that it endorses the monarchy, according to the Daily Mail. She also charged that using the name shows that the couple “don’t want real, revolutionary change.”

Commentator Piers Morgan tore into the journalist, tweeting, “Delete this, you disgusting piece of work.”

Kinsey Schofield, who is the founder of To Di For Daily, told the Daily Star: “Wishing death on an elderly woman that has dedicated her entire life to serving others is appalling, especially after such a traumatic year for the Queen. I am disappointed that anyone would think that was a cute tweet, let alone someone that has had the privilege to write for publications like Vogue. Queen Elizabeth has had one hell of a year and deserves to be loved and respected for the sacrifices that she had made in her lifetime.”

Burton’s work has also been featured in mainstream leftist media outlets such as The New York Times, Business Insider, HuffPost, MSN South Africa, The Independent, Yahoo, and Refinery29, where she wrote such thought-provoking pieces as “What We Lose When We Focus On Whiteness in Interracial Relationships.”

The leftist journo is fixated on identity politics, social justice, and ironically, mental health.

Betty White passed away at her home on Friday morning just a few weeks before her 100th birthday.

While she is most remembered for her role as Rose Nylund in The Golden Girls, her career spanned 80 years. White was beloved by everyone.

The Queen lost her “beloved” late husband Prince Philip this past year. She gave an emotional Christmas message, paying tribute to him. She revealed how the Duke of Edinburgh’s “mischievous, enquiring twinkle was as bright at the end as when I first set eyes on him.” She also remarked that his laugh was missed this year during the holidays. They were married for 73 years.

In her tribute, the Queen, 95, wore the sapphire brooch she had on during her honeymoon in 1947. She wore it again for her diamond wedding anniversary.
