Popstar Tiffany gave a cringe-worthy rendition of her 1980’s hit “I Think We’re Alone Now” during a performance in Melbourne, Florida on Sunday where she slurred her words, lost her cool, and then told her fans in the audience, “F**k you guys!”

She then dropped another F-bomb before slurring something that was inaudible.

TMZ obtained a video of the performance on Monday showing the 50-year-old performer struggling to sing her song as if she had forgotten the words while slurring the ones she did remember as her accompaniment tried to cover for her. She sang her hit hoarsely and skipped some of the lyrics during the song.

Her spokesperson told Fox News that “Tiffany lost her voice and was frustrated with her performance.”

The celebrity’s profane response may have been due to hecklers in the audience. Many of her fans sang along and helped fill in as Tiffany continued on with the song.

“This is my hit!” she shouted while barefoot. “I’m gonna sing it right!”

The video of the incident has gone viral unfortunately for the singer.

“Poor woman,” one person remarked on YouTube. “She’s trashed. Her fans are loyally singing with her. Oh well, we all have our days.”

“As the malls around the country disappear, so does Tiffany’s talent,” one user harshly noted. “They’re forever tied together.”

“This saddens me immensely,” another sadly stated. “When I think of her.. and the happy times that surrounded hearing her music in the day… I wish I hadn’t view [sic] this… Hope things turn back around for her.”

“I Think We’re Alone Now,” which is a cover of the Tommy James & the Shondells popular song, was Tiffany’s biggest hit and it made the charts in 1987. It spent two weeks at #1 on The Billboard Hot 100 list.

In 2019, she was on tour performing 55 shows in 53 cities for the “Mixtape Tour” with singer Debbie Gibson.

“I never get tired of performing ‘I Think We’re Alone Now,’” she told Fox News in an interview at the time. “I was an eight-year-old girl twirling around in her bedroom in Norwalk, California, wanting to be a singer. And it happened. And ‘I Think We’re Alone Now’ led me to success around the world.”

“It was bigger than I even imagined, even when I got the record deal,” she recalled. “It was one thing to be a singer in America, but then when I started to travel the world and everyone loved the song and were wearing jean jackets, knew a lot about me as a person — it really affected me. I never get tired of singing that song because it makes people happy.”

The Florida concert was the last on her U.S. “Shadows” tour. Tiffany (born Tiffany Darwish) has performed more than a dozen shows across the nation in the past month.

The singer has had a rocky road with relationships and split with her second husband, British businessman Ben George, in 2018. They had been married for 14 years.

Tiffany has one adult son, 29-year-old Elijah, from her first marriage to makeup artist Bulmaro Garcia.

She made headlines when she attempted to become emancipated from her mother, Janie, after she became a star. They would later reconcile.

Tiffany spoke about divorcing her parents during an episode of Australia’s “I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here!” back in 2018, “My mom was an alcoholic, she didn’t know how to speak for herself. My sisters were taken away, she had to work to get them back. I was being told ‘Your family is going to f**k up your career so you’ve got to make a choice at 14 or 15 otherwise that is what you will be. Do you want that or cut them loose?’”

“My mom depended on me and my mom wouldn’t let me go, so I had to go to court. Family is family but sometimes they do hurt you; they don’t mean to but they can and sometimes you have to fend for yourself,” she said.

Tiffany was ripped on social media for her performance:
