‘The Big Apple is awake!’ Anti-Biden mandate protests reportedly sprout up in NYC

A video clip posted to Twitter purports to show hundreds of people traipsing across the Brooklyn Bridge in New York City repeatedly chanting “F**k Joe Biden!” — a refrain that appears to be growing in popularity.

The clip was posted Monday evening by Disclose.tv, an account that regularly posts videos, though it isn’t clear when the clip was actually taken or by whom. The context of the demonstration is also not known but comes amid other reports of NYC protests against Biden’s vaccine mandate.

Warning: Strong language

That said, several clips of others repeating the same slogan appeared online over the weekend as crowds at various college football games chanted it for two weeks in a row.

Additional posts appear to show New Yorkers protesting the president’s vaccine mandate in a number of clips.

A number of users voiced their support for the demonstrations.

Meanwhile, Americans on the West Coast are also voicing their opposition to the Democratic power base. Biden was booed as he arrived on earlier this week to campaign on behalf of California Gov. Gavin Newsom, who faces a recall election Tuesday. Newsom’s closest challenger appears to be GOP candidate and talk radio host Larry Elder.

Clips of crowds booing Biden were also posted online.

There was even a bit of star power included in the anti-Biden, anti-Newsom demonstrations.

“Here’s one for you. The driver of our press van is actor Alan Ruck. Cameron from Ferris Bueller/Connor Roy from Succession. I said, ‘you sound just like the actor Alan Ruck’ Looks like there’s a reason. Super nice guy, got a kick out of running all the red lights,” Fox News correspondent Pat Ward posted on Twitter.

At one point during a speech on behalf of Newsom, Biden referred to his predecessor, President Donald Trump, in the negative rather than argue why Newsom would be the best choice for the state.

“I’m gonna make this as simple as I can,” Biden said. “You either keep Gavin Newsom as your governor or you’ll get Donald Trump. It’s not a joke.”
