Vice President Kamala Harris alarmingly urged parents to start buying Christmas presents for their children now due to worldwide supply change disruptions and warned on climate change while noticeably ignoring the Afghanistan debacle.
At a roundtable of business leaders in Singapore, she warned that climate change and the pandemic have played a major role in global supply chain issues and bleakly predicted more suffering for Americans and the world in general.
“The stories that we are now hearing about the caution that if you want to have Christmas toys for your children, it might now be… might be the time to start buying them, because the delay may be many, many months,” she asserted. “So across the board, people are experiencing the issue.”
“And, of course, the climate crisis is fueling a lot of this. When we look at the stronger typhoons that have disrupted shipping lanes and sea-level rise, which threatens port infrastructure as an example. So these are the many issues that are causing these disruptions,” she bleakly commented.

Fox News contributor and American civil rights attorney Leo Terrell expressed alarm on “Fox & Friends” Tuesday that Democrats are hinting at shutting down the U.S. economy again following Vice President Kamala Harris’ comments.
“That scares me because that sounds like shutdown, that sounds like we’re going to expect that the economy is going to basically be locked down again. And that’s frightening. Again, the Democrats have used the pandemic to control Americans. And basically, that sounds like a very dangerous warning sign,” Terrell declared.
“She’s coming to California to help soon-to-be-recalled Governor Newsom. And the problem is, is she’s the most unpopular and really, in my opinion, the most unqualified person to serve as vice president. What can she offer to people in California? I’ll tell you right now, she’s known, for one thing, the failure at the southern border and that southern border failure has impacted California. And this state is a total disaster. That is why Newsom is in trouble,” he added.

During her Singapore visit, Harris took a swing at China as well for its incursions into the South China Sea. She called China’s actions “coercion” and “intimidation” and vowed that the U.S. will support its allies in the region against their advances. Many doubt that assertion following the Afghanistan implosion.
What Harris didn’t address was the Afghanistan disaster that President Biden has created and that she supported. She has kept relatively silent on the issue trying to avoid the fallout surrounding the President’s incompetent handling of the issue and his catastrophic attempts at foreign policy. The Vice President has been castigated for flying off to Singapore as Afghanistan falls to the Taliban instead of addressing the issue in a leadership capacity.

The Vice President also did not address comments made by Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA), who is the chair of the House Intelligence Committee. He commented on Monday that he doesn’t believe that the U.S. will be able to evacuate all Americans out of Afghanistan by the Aug. 31st deadline.
