Professor calls Jan. 6 protesters ‘a white mob arguing for a white nation’

Eddie Glaude Jr., the radical left professor of African American Studies at Princeton University, was “moved” by the “powerful testimony” laid out Tuesday by a number of hand-picked U.S. Capitol police officers at the Speaker Nancy Pelosi-controlled Jan. 6 committee.

But as he explained as much during an appearance on MSNBC, he opted to turn his attention to those protesting that day — to be clear, he was not delving into a belief that there were several factions present that day, not all being Trump loyalists.

Borrowing from Barack Obama, Glaude ran with the bitter clingers hanging onto their guns and Bibles theory, speaking of “white resentment, white fear, terror and panic.”

He insisted there’s a “kind of motivation that goes beyond the Three Percenters and Oath keepers and Proud Boys, but evidenced in our everyday lives that some folks are clinging to this idea that America has to remain a white nation.”

In effect, the storming of the U.S. Capitol was all about racism — hell, the race card works everywhere else in America, why not here?

Pointing out that many of the areas where there were contested election results were in black-majority cities, Atlanta, Detroit, and Philadelphia, Glaude declared, “So, this is in some ways a white mob arguing for a white nation.”

And to think, with logic like this, parents spend thousands of dollars for this man to infect the minds of their children.

Driving the contrived racial narrative, political analyst Matthew Dowd posited that there’s a white minority portion of the country “who fundamentally doesn’t believe all men and women are created equal.” He offers nothing to support such an outrageous charge, and is not pressed on it by MSNBC host Nicole Wallace.

To give you another perspective of GWB, and not a flattering one, Down and Wallace were consultants on his 2004 presidential campaign. Wallace would also serve as his communication director — which was long before she fed former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin to her liberal media pals in the 2008 presidential election.

The genius analyst then brought sexuality and religion into it as well, to say that a third of the country has “constantly fought against” the great American experience.

Make no mistake, bringing it forward, Dowd is talking about white Republicans.

“It happened in the Revolutionary War. A third of America sided with the monarchy,” he claimed. “It happened in the Civil War. A third of America supported slavery and fought the union to try to break up the union. It happened in civil rights. A third of America fought expanded civil rights. It happened with women’s vote. A third of America fought women’s right to vote. And that third of America is still in the soil of our American republic. It has not been excavated in a way to remove the poison of it.”

After calling for the excavation of a third of the population, he naturally attributed it all the Donald Trump.

“And Donald Trump — give Donald Trump credit for one thing,” Dowd said. “Donald Trump recognized that when he came down that escalator.”

It’s remarkable that a national cable network like MSNBC would allow the spewing of such irresponsible, inflammatory rhetoric.

Zeroing in on white Christian male heterosexuals, Dowd laughably argued that over the last 20 years, this demographic’s hold on economic or political power decreased from 95% to 85%, suggesting they are not “satisfied” with the current hold.

Wallace marveled over the percentages, without bothering to question them, proving that you can go on MSNBC and spout whatever drivel you want as long as it is directed toward Trump and the right. She also commented on how it gave her “hope” to see the Pelosi Republicans — Reps. Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger — joining with Democrats on the sham Jan. 6 select committee.

Glaude’s hatred for his country shined through as he spoke about “the hollowness of heart that is the United States right now.”

The professor said this hypothetical one-third “are easy to identify.”

“The more difficult — the loud racists are easy,” Glaude said. “The more difficult for us are those who stand silently while they do what they do. The ones who are willing to compromise with them. The ones who are willing to allow them to jeopardize our very way of life. The loud racists are who they are. The question is what are you going to do?”

Exactly what he was advocating for was left to the minds of the few viewers Wallace may have, though he did emphasize it’s up to “white Americans who are committed to a multi-racial democracy.” See white guilt cabal.

“What are we going to do in the face of this third who have the country by the throat once again,” he asked.

Essentially, it’s up to white people to save minorities from the mythical beast that they are helpless against.

Dowd was fully on board with that notion, saying he completely agrees with Glaude.

“We constantly put the burden on minority groups to defend themselves and whites sit back and say, well, you guys defend yourselves,” he said. “It’s up to us, especially people like me, who is a white, Christian heterosexual male.”

Dowd said it would ultimately come down to elections, before giving a full-throated endorsement of the Democratic Party

“In my view, the Republican Party is no longer a vehicle that can support democracy. So the only vehicle to save our republic today is the Democratic Party,” he proclaimed. “If you don’t agree with them on some issues, too bad, our democracy is at stake. Give up your tribe, give up your allegiance to certain particular issues and defend democracy and defend the great American experiment and defend the idea that all men and women are created equal.”
