In what is sure to become the refrain of even his critics, it seems that on many issues, President Donald Trump was right all along.
Fox News host Brian Kilmeade noted the irony of backtracking liberals who slammed Trump for his warnings and remarks on the coronavirus pandemic but are now echoing his words. Speaking with Fox News contributor, Dr. Marc Siegel on Tuesday, the “Fox & Friends” co-host highlighted how Trump called out China for not being honest about the COVID-19 pandemic and how he advocated for children heading back to physical schools.
Kilmeade began by mocking New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo who shamed other states for their handling of the pandemic and boasted of his own great leadership, even writing a book about it while the virus still raged. But with the number of positive cases spiking in the state, Cuomo is now calling in medical personnel to help with the soaring number of hospitalizations.
Siegel noted that New York hospitals “already have plans in place” and don’t need any of the Democrat governor’s “posturing.”

The author and professor of medicine at the NYU Langone Medical Center also slammed the double standard as the press currently fawns over Democratic nominee Joe Biden and his broken foot while they claim that Trump was never transparent about his health.
The media has been buzzing about the former vice president’s mishap as he broke his foot while playing with his dog over the weekend.

“All this fawning over a foot fracture!” Siegel exclaimed.
“Excuse me, I talked to President Trump right after he had COVID. He said right to me on camera, ‘I had a haziness on my cat scan in the lungs. I took the Regeneron product. I got better.’ He couldn’t have been more transparent and crystal clear about COVID,” the physician recounted.
“So what’s this all this talk about President Trump not being transparent on his health issues? He was unbelievably transparent and all this fawning over a foot,” he added. “I think I’m going to have a lot of work coming up, Brian, every time he gets a hangnail, Biden, I’m going to be called, in right?”
Kilmeade brought up Trump’s stance on getting America’s children back in to schools and out of the distance learning that has been going on since closures due to the pandemic.
“The president was right when he said get the kids back in school. The risks are so minimal they need to go back to school,” Kilmeade said. “Now Dr. Fauci goes ‘You know what? I’m looking at the data the kids should be in school.'”
The president came under repeated backlash for suggesting children return to in-person learning months ago. Back in July, Trump argued that keeping schools closed “is causing death also,” reiterating how the risk of getting sick and dying from the disease falls with age.
“The lower they are in age, the lower the risk,” Trump said at the time. “We have to remember that there’s another side to this. Keeping them out of school and keeping work closed is causing death also. Economic harm, but it’s causing death for different reasons, but death. Probably more death.”
Trump even threatened to withhold funding.
In Germany, Denmark, Norway, Sweden and many other countries, SCHOOLS ARE OPEN WITH NO PROBLEMS. The Dems think it would be bad for them politically if U.S. schools open before the November Election, but is important for the children & families. May cut off funding if not open!

Fauci, on the other hand, has been anything but clear in his stand on the issue which seemed to take a turn in an interview Sunday on ABC News’ “This Week.” U.S. Senator rand Paul called out the nation’s top infectious disease expert for his self-contradictions.

Fox News’ Kilmeade also noted on Tuesday that Trump was right about China as well in terms of being transparent about the source of the COVID-19 virus.
“CNN says China lied about how the virus started and weren’t transparent about what the results were and how many fatalities they had,” he said.
“Who said that? The president – every day from January until today. Unbelievable!” he exclaimed.
A CNN report on Tuesday subtitled, “Leaked documents reveal China’s mishandling of the early stages of Covid-19,” focused on a “string of revelations contained within 117 pages” of leaked documents that appear to back what Trump had been saying all along.
“At several critical moments in the early phase of the pandemic, the documents show evidence of clear missteps and point to a pattern of institutional failings,” CNN reported.
“Why would we ever believe China on COVID?” Siegel asked Kilmeade.
“Why would we ever? They lied from the beginning. They hid the initial case and it was probably months before that? How come we started listening to them?” he asked.
“Well, we were listening,” Kilmeade replied. “CNN wasn’t listening until the election was over.”
