‘So nasty!’ Un-masked Pelosi caught wiping her nose, touching podium on House floor

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is quick to lecture others about how they should behave during the coronavirus outbreak when she’s not busy eating the expensive ice cream stocked up in her equally expensive refrigerator.

But it should come as no surprise that the wealthy San Francisco Democrat feels she’s above the rules.

On Thursday, while speaking from the House floor — sans face mask — Pelosi is seen clearly wiping her snout with a bare hand, before touching the lectern that members share when speaking.

And with President Donald Trump being a frequent target of Pelosi’s, you can be sure the president’s astute campaign took notice of the “nasty” display.

“Nancy Pelosi is definitely not following CDC guidelines,” a campaign tweet observed.

Speaker Pelosi did show up Thursday wearing a white scarf to cover her face, which could be the first honest depiction in U.S. history of the congressional robbing of the American people that goes on in Washington.

Further exposing her hypocrisy, if that’s possible, Pelosi was expressing sympathy for those who lost their lives to the Chinese virus when her unhygienic display took place.

“We come to the floor with such heartache, with such sorrow about the ones who have lost their lives and their loved ones,” said Pelosi, immediately after wiping her nose.

The great irony here is that Democrats made a show out of being concerns about the spread of COVID-19, as seen when House Rules Committee Chairman Jim McGovern, D-Mass., called out Republicans for not wearing masks.

“The face covering is most useful in reducing viral spread while speaking,” McGovern said.

It’s not clear where the Democrat stands on nose wiping.

Pelosi is a controlling factor in the spending of trillions of dollars our grandchildren’s grandchildren will be paying back years from now, as noted by Jason Howerton.

“Nancy Pelosi WIPES HER NOSE with her finger and then touches the podium that all lawmakers are sharing today. No mask over her face. These are the people who spend trillions of our dollars. Think about that,” Howerton tweeted.

Howerton would also stress that the 80-year-old Pelosi is in the “at-risk” category — there are close to 150 congressional members over the age of 65.

He added, “For nothing else other than protecting herself and other elderly members of Congress, be more careful!”

Then again, it seems Democrats could have played starring roles in the Esurance ad that featured the iconic tagline, “That’s not how any of this works.”

Here’s a sampling of online responses to the incident, to include one that sheds some light on what may have been behind Trump’s alleged handshake snub at the State of the Union.
