A South Carolina man was charged with breach of peace and forgery after causing panic in a local school and forcing a business to shut down after he falsely claimed that he had tested positive for the Wuhan coronavirus.

Jeffrey Travis Long, 31, of Inman, South Carolina, was arrested for allegedly forging a doctor’s note claiming he had the coronavirus. Because of this, Long’s employer — a call center in Spartanburg County — had to shut down for several days to sanitize.

In addition, parents and teachers at the school that Long’s children attended had frantic meltdowns amid concerns that he had spread the COVID-19 virus after visiting the school.

“It seems to me like the fella just wanted a two-week, paid vacation,” Spartanburg County Sheriff Chuck Wright said at a news conference. “You can’t do this to people.”

Sheriff Wright added: “I don’t know the dollar number it cost to disinfect their whole entire building, but it was a large number. It wasn’t a hundred bucks. It was more than that.”

Hospital officials told the police that Jeffrey Long’s fake doctor’s note did not have an official stamp. They also pointed out that they never saw Long at the hospital during the past two weeks so he could be tested.

Meanwhile, President Trump continues to update Americans through daily coronavirus press briefings.

However, left-wing panic merchants like MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow are demanding that TV networks stop airing Trump’s daily briefings. Why? Because Maddow is furious that Trump dares to be optimistic that we will eventually find a cure for the coronavirus.

Remember: If the Left can’t shill its doom-and-gloom panic, they have no chance to win back the White House in November.

Accordingly, it is in their interest to constantly foment mass public hysteria (which also boosts their TV ratings).

The coronavirus is a serious health crisis and everyone should take proper precautions to limit its spread.

But the United States will overcome it, just like it overcame the swine flu, the bird flu, SARS, 9/11, and every other crisis it encountered.

Maddow and other left-wing media are upset that President Trump is optimistic about a French doctor’s small study that found a 100% cure rate using a malaria drug to treat the coronavirus.

Accordingly, the President has urged scientists to continue testing this malaria drug to see if it can be useful in combating the Wuhan coronavirus.

Fox News host Laura Ingraham volunteered to be tested using the malaria drug.

“I have a feeling — given the fact that most of the countries are locked down right now — that a controlled study of 2,000 patients could be organized pretty quickly, given what is at stake here,” Ingraham said.

Laura said: “I’ll happily volunteer. If you’re looking for volunteers, I will volunteer.”

Ingraham — an attorney and mom of three — added:  “As we have done with polio and the measles and so much else, we will find the answers we need. We have beaten diseases in the past. And we will do it again.”
