Two-time failed presidential candidate Joe Biden bragged last month that he’ll beat President Donald Trump “like a drum.” This weekend, Biden doubled-down on his boast in a fiery op-ed, where he accused Trump of being “wholly unfit” for office.

Despite his eroding poll numbers in the Democratic primaries, the former vice president insists that he’ll be his party’s nominee and will crush Trump in the 2020 presidential election.

“To Trump and those who facilitate his abuses of power, and all the special interests funding his attacks against me: Please know that I’m not going anywhere,” Biden wrote in a new Washington Post op-ed. “You won’t destroy me, and you won’t destroy my family. And come November 2020, I intend to beat you like a drum.”

Biden made the comical threats while accusing President Trump of abusing his power. Ironically, this is exactly what Biden is accused of having done during his 47-year career in Washington.

Joe Biden, 76, has been a politician since he was 29 years old. If Washington is a corrupt swamp that needs to be drained, why hasn’t Biden done anything about it during his five decades on Capitol Hill?

Biden wrote: “[Trump] does not understand the immense responsibility demanded of all those who hold the office of the president of the United States. He sees only the power — and how it can benefit just one person: Donald Trump … It all comes down to the abuse of power. That is the defining characteristic of the Trump presidency.”

Biden is firing back amid increasing scrutiny of his role in securing a $50,000-a-month, part-time gig for his son Hunter on the board of Burisma Holdings, an energy company owned by a Ukrainian oligarch.

Joe is also accused of abusing his power to help his son secure $1.5 billion in financing from the Chinese government just 10 days after Hunter tagged along with him on a 2013 taxpayer-funded trip to China.

Despite his own decades-long history of dubious dealings, Biden insists that Trump is corrupt. At an October 3 San Francisco fundraiser, Biden denied he had anything to do with his son getting a $1.5 billion check from the Chinese government when he was vice president.

“I wonder where the hell that money is, man, because I’ve got to pay tuitions! God bless me!” Biden told reporters.

It’s unclear whose tuition Biden needs to pay, since his adult children graduated from school many years ago.

Meanwhile, author Peter Schweizer says Joe Biden has engaged in corrupt pay-for-play politics for decades.

“Joe Biden is appointed the point-person to two countries on policy: China and Ukraine,” Schweizer told Fox News. “And in both of those countries, they happen to be the epicenters of Hunter Biden’s business activities.”

Schweizer explained: “In December of 2013, Joe Biden flies to Beijing, China on Air Force Two. On the plane with him is his son, Hunter Biden. He gets criticized on the trip for going soft on Beijing. Ten days after they returned from that trip, Hunter Biden’s small investment firm announced a $1.5 billion private equity deal with the Chinese government.”

“In February 2014, the Yanukovich government falls, the Russians move into Crimea, there is a crisis situation. Joe Biden becomes the point person on the Western response in Ukraine,” Schweizer continued. “Literally two months after that event, Hunter Biden and Devin Archer are appointed to the board of directors of Burisma, which is a notoriously corrupt energy company.”

“The problem is, just like in China, in the case of Ukraine, Hunter has no background that would warrant him getting this position,” he added. “He has no background in energy policy, and he certainly has no background in Ukraine.”
