President Donald Trump took to Twitter to defend himself against accusations of corruption by Democrats, which were all torn apart during a Thursday House Intelligence Committee hearing.

Trump began retweeting messages of support to his nearly 65 million followers in the hours before the hearing on his much-debated phone call with the Ukrainian president. Though a whistleblower and many Democrats claim Trump asked for dirt on Joe Biden during the call, the actual transcript says otherwise.

The president tweeted messages from people like Vice President Mike Pence and his eldest son, Donald Trump Jr.

Trump continued his tweeting during and after the hearing and took specific aim at Adam Schiff, who has accused the president of “corruption.”

“Adam Schiff has zero credibility. Another fantasy to hurt the Republican Party!” he tweeted.

The president later added about Schiff, “Liddle’ Adam Schiff, who has worked unsuccessfully for 3 years to hurt the Republican Party and President, has just said that the Whistleblower, even though he or she only had second-hand information, “is credible.” How can that be with zero info and a known bias. Democrat Scam!”

Trump also took aim at the whistleblower — whose identity has been kept under wraps, but a new report suggests he may work for the C.I.A. — by pointing out the fact that the complaint contains no firsthand knowledge, something lawmakers like John Ratcliffe also brought up during the hearing.

“A whistleblower with second hand information? Another Fake News Story! See what was said on the very nice, no pressure, call. Another Witch Hunt!” Trump tweeted.
