Ocasio-Cortez helps raise money for jailed Antifa members

The double standard that intolerant Democrats enjoy in America is remarkable.

Taking to social media, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., pushed a fundraiser for bail money for a group of protesters that included members of the violent Antifa movement.

The arrests, 36 in all, came after a “Straight Pride” parade in Boston, Massachusetts, this weekend, according to the Boston Herald.

Here’s a sampling of their antics.

Many of those arrested were charged with assault and battery on a police officer, and a number of others were charged with resisting arrest. Other protesters face charges of carrying a dangerous weapon or assault by means of a dangerous weapon.

These being the folks the radical democratic socialist wants to help spring from jail — so they can “protect” the community.

Ocasio-Cortez tweeted: “One way to support the local LGBTQ community impacted by Boston’s white supremacist parade? Contribute to the Bail Fund for the activists who put themselves on the line protecting the Boston community.”

Ocasio-Cortez was responding to a post from fellow “squad” member, Rep. Ayanna Pressley, D-Mass, who spoke in support of those who “laid their bodies on the line.”

The Herald said there were about 200 counter-protesters, including “far left groups like Antifa.”

Jon Crowley, identified by the paper as an Antifa member, told the Herald that he felt violence was the only way to deal with the people

“We’re covered in black so when we attack these guys we can’t be prosecuted,” said Crowley. “They are fascists, 100%. How else are you going to get them to shut up?”

Who knew being straight in post-Obama America was so controversial?

Take note how the left assumes the authority to label those they disagree with in the most despicable manner possible, only to use that tag as moral justification for their violence.

A ritual Ocasio-Cortez participated in, as seen when she characterized the “Straight Pride” event as a “white supremacist parade.”

“Not sure which parade and ceremony she watched over the weekend, but of the 12 speakers on our stage, five were African-American, four were women, and three were African-American women,” the parade organizers, Super Happy Fun America, said in a statement.

But AOC knows there will be no media accountability for her extremism, as seen when an Antifa protester was shot dead in Portland, Ore., when he tried to firebomb an ICE facility — the deceased man mimicked Ocasio-Cortez’s rhetoric about federal detention centers being “concentration camps.”
