The Nebraska Republican Party officially called for one of its registered state senators, John McCollister, to leave the party and re-register as a Democrat after a series of tweets he sent this weekend lambasted the party as being “COMPLICIT to obvious racist and immoral activity.”
According to Ryan Hamilton, Nebraska GOP executive director, McCollister is a RINO-deluxe, long overdue to shed his deceptive party-affiliation camouflage.
“John McCollister has been telegraphing for years that he has little if nothing in common with the Republican voters in his district by consistently advocating for higher taxes, restrictions on American’s Second Amendment rights, and pro-abortion lobby,” Hamilton said in a statement. “His latest false statement about Republicans should come as no surprise to anyone who is paying attention, and we’re happy he has finally shed all pretense of being a conservative.
“I am happy to send a change of voter registration form along to his office so he can make the switch officially and start, for once, telling the truth to voters in his district.”

Sunday evening, RINO McCollister sealed his fate as a GOP reject when he published half-a-dozen tweets bashing Republicans.
In the first, he claimed, “The Republican Party is enabling white supremacy in our country. As a lifelong Republican, it pains me to say this, but it’s the truth. I of course am not suggesting that all Republicans are white supremacists nor am I saying that the average Republican is even racist.”

Kind of weird, but that third sentence he seemed to be saying “nothing personal, but …”
But … his second tweet picked up where he left off, saying, “What I am saying though is that the Republican Party is COMPLICIT to obvious racist and immoral activity inside our party.”

Then, of course, the core of the issue came out, when McCollum revealed it’s an ant-Trump thing. “We have a Republican president who continually stokes racist fears in his base. He calls certain countries ‘sh*tholes,’ tells women of color to ‘go back’ to where they came from and lies more than he tells the truth,” he wrote.

McCollum believes that the Democrats will win in the end and rewrite history in a way that suits their purpose, as they are wont to do. “When the history books are written, I refuse to be someone who said nothing,” he tweeted.

In tweet number five, the brave RINO jumped out of the foxhole he had been hiding in and waved to his pretend mates, imploring them to follow him to the other side. “We are better than this,” he called, “and I implore my Republican colleagues to stand up and do the right thing.”

And then finally, the political impostor’s tiresome tirade ended with a reference to Abe Lincoln, an actual Republican, as if that was going to turn the tide of disgust that was by that point overwhelming all conservatives who had wasted their time reading his tweeted manifesto.

McCollister was initially voted into office to the Nebraska state Senate in 2014.
On Monday, in the wake of the weekend’s two mass shootings, President Trump called on Americans to condemn hate and white supremacy and outlined areas of action where hatred could be dealt with at its core.
