Democrat Congresswoman Ilhan Omar and her steady barrage of anti-Semitic statements are tearing the Muslim and Jewish communities in her home state of Minnesota apart, according to local Muslim and Jewish leaders.
Minnesota is home to the largest Muslim Somali population in the United States. Up until now, the Muslim community has had a peaceful relationship with their Jewish neighbors.
But Omar’s repeated anti-Semitic rhetoric is causing tension between the two groups. Keep in mind that Omar is supposed to represent ALL the constituents in her district — not just Muslims.

Somali activist: Omar’s remarks are ‘very dangerous’
Omar Jamal, a Somali community activist, told the Washington Post that Ilhan’s hateful comments are “wrong, period.”
Jamal added: “She has really spoken in a very dangerous way, and it’s going to be up to her to reach out to people and fix this.”
Ilhan Omar was elected to Congress from Minnesota to replace the seat vacated by Keith Ellison, the first Muslim ever elected to the US Congress.
Despite multiple domestic-violence accusations against him, Keith Ellison was elected Minnesota’s attorney general in November 2018.

NY Times columnist: Ilhan Omar hates Israel
Thomas Friedman, a Jewish columnist for the New York Times, said Minnesota Jews welcomed Somali refugees with open arms years ago, despite their vast cultural and religious differences.
Now, Ilhan Omar has strained the Jewish-Muslim relationship in the district she represents.
Friedman wrote that he believes that Omar’s anti-Semitic rhetoric is driven by her hatred for Israel, a longtime ally of the United States.
“Everything I have heard from her leads me to conclude that she dislikes AIPAC because she dislikes Israel, because she does not really believe the Jewish people have a right to an independent state in their ancestral homeland.
She seems to support the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions movement against Israel, known as B.D.S.
Ilhan Omar represents, among other neighborhoods, a significant and liberal Jewish community — my hometown.
I can tell you that a vast majority of Jews there would be proud if their congresswoman used her links to American Jews and Muslims to be a bridge builder for peace in the Middle East and America, not just another AIPAC/Israel basher.
If she thinks the only reason that Americans support Israel is because of AIPAC and campaign contributions, she is dead wrong.
Americans’ affinity with Israel is rooted in a respect for Israel’s ability to maintain a democracy in a sea of autocratic regimes; it is rooted in a Judeo-Christian religious affinity.”
Meanwhile, Fox News is also facing backlash for condemning host Judge Jeanine Pirro because she slammed Ilhan Omar’s hateful anti-Jewish and anti-American rhetoric.

CNN staged fake Muslim protest to promote pro-Islam agenda
Longtime Fox News fans are wondering why Fox News scolded an OPINION HOST for expressing her opinions when left-wing CNN activists masquerading as “straight news journalists” call President Trump and anyone associated with him anti-Semitic and anti-American 24 hours a day.
CNN never condemns its Trump-hating CNN hosts, who in turn never apologize even when caught spreading fake news.
