Rubio goes at it with foul-mouthed Rashida Tlaib after her ‘anti-Semitic’ slur, intent on ‘destroying Israel’

Michigan Democratic Rep. Rashida Tlaib made a grand entrance onto the national scene last week when she called President Donald Trump a “motherf–ker,” and she is showing no signs of slowing her radical hard-left roll.

Be it a “slight alteration” to Israel on a map in her office, to a close relationship with infamous anti-Semite Linda Sarsour, the foul-mouthed Muslim Democrat bounces from one controversy to another, and Tlaib is now being accused of posting an anti-Semitic slur on social media — all coming in less than a week of taking office.

Tlaib came under fire — again — when she accused Senate Republicans of being more loyal to Israel than the U.S. in responding to a tweet from Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt.

Sanders was tweeting opposition to a planned GOP bill that, according to Fox News, “would punish companies that participate in the so-called ‘Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions’ (BDS) global movement against Israel.”

“They forgot what country they represent,” tweeted Tlaib, one of the first two Muslim women to be elected to Congress in November. She then tried to pivot to the ongoing government shutdown.

Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., one of the bill’s sponsors, was quick to respond to Tlaib’s tweet, saying the Palestinian-American lawmaker posted “a typical anti-Semitic line.”

“This ‘dual loyalty’ canard is a typical anti-Semitic line #BDS isn’t about freedom & equality, it’s about destroying #Israel,” Rubio tweeted. “And if boycotting #Israel is constitutionally protected, then boycotting companies that boycott #Israel is also constitutionally protected.”

Rubio followed up with a second tweet exposing what he said is the real reason the Democrats oppose the bill — that being to avoid revealing that some party members do support BDS.

“The shutdown is not the reason Senate Democrats don’t want to move to Middle East Security Bill,” he tweeted. “A huge argument broke out at Senate Dem meeting last week over BDS. A significant # of Senate Democrats now support #BDS & Dem leaders want to avoid a floor vote that reveals that.”

This prompted another tweet from the aggressive, in-your-face Democrat, accusing the senior senator from Florida of “inventing controversy” to distract attention away from the shutdown.

Amid growing concerns that “Democrats have soured on Israel and warmed to anti-Semitism,” as stated by conservative political commentator Ben Shapiro, Tlaib wore a  traditional Palestinian robe to her swearing-in ceremony, along with Sarsour, a fellow Palestinian-American who was invited.

As noted by Fox News, Sarsour is “a proponent of Louis Farrakhan and the Nation of Islam. Farrakhan has compared Jews to termites and praised Hitler.”

Tlaib has also openly endorsed a one-state solution in the Middle East and called for reduced military aid to Israel.

“It has to be one state,” Tlaib told In These Times magazine. “Separate but equal does not work. I’m only 42 years old, but my teachers were of that generation that marched with Martin Luther King. This whole idea of a two-state solution, it doesn’t work.”

While she has the audacity to accuse Republicans of dual-loyalty, Tlaib doesn’t seem to not understand that Palestine is not located in her Michigan district.
