Trump’s words twisted into victim-blaming for saying armed guards in temple could save lives

Liberals immediately politicized the Pittsburgh synagogue massacre to make a push for gun control and to attack President Trump for suggesting that having armed security at the Tree of Life synagogue could have mitigated the tragedy.

When a reporter asked if it’s time to change gun laws, Trump replied: “Well, this has little to do with that. If they had some kind of a protection inside the temple, maybe it could have been a very different situation…If there was an armed guard inside the temple, they would have been able to stop him.”

Robert Bowers — an anti-Semite who hated President Trump for being pro-Israel — killed 11 people at the Tree of Life synagogue.

Bowers was armed with an assault rifle and three handguns. He had a history of racist, anti-Semitic rhetoric on social media, including ranting that “all Jews must die.”

Bowers did not have a political party affiliation on his voter registration, even though the media are blaming President Trump and are desperately trying to tie Bowers to Republicans.

Twitter slammed President Trump for suggesting that having armed guards at the Tree of Life synagogue could have mitigated the bloodshed. Naturally, leftists twisted his words to suggest that Trump was blaming the temple for the tragic shootings.

In reality, many synagogues have armed security. In New York City, it is not unusual to see armed guards regularly posted outside the entrance to some temples. So President Trump’s suggestion is apparently something many in the Jewish community agree with.

In response to the predictable barrage of false liberal narratives accusing Trump of being anti-Semitic, scores of Jewish Twitter users jumped to his defense — noting that Trump is the most pro-Israel, pro-Jewish president the U.S. has ever had.

Keep in mind that Democrats passionately support anti-Semitic Muslim politicians like Keith Ellison and Ilhan Omar.

Democrats also support high-profile anti-Semites like Louis Farrakhan, leader of the Nation of Islam, and pro-Sharia activist Linda Sarsour.

Last week, Farrakhan compared Jews to termites. Few on the left disavowed his blatant anti-Semitism.

Did we mention that Irish singer Sinead O’Connor converted to Islam? What attracted her the most?

Violent anti-Jewish attacks have spiked across Western Europe, coinciding with the barrage of “refugees” it took in from Muslim-majority countries in the Middle East and North Africa.

Israel stands with the United States, and the U.S. stands with Israel — its one true ally in the Middle East.

The media are blaming Trump for the synagogue shooting, but where were they during Obama’s two terms?
