Slip of the tongue from DNC chair Tom Perez: ‘There are no moderate Democrats basically left’

Talk about a Freudian slip, Democratic National Committee Chairman Tom Perez, with a slip of the tongue, voiced what anyone paying attention already knows, that being that there are no moderate Democrats left.

Doing what Democrats do best, projecting and flipping the narrative, the head of the party who called un accomplished democratic socialist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez its “future,” appeared on MSNBC to suggest the GOP is the party of extremists — except his tongue couldn’t keep up with his deceptive mind.

“When you see the mistreatment of Dr. Ford, that’s a mistreatment of every woman across America,” Perez declared. “When we see kids ripped from their parents at the border, that’s an affront to our values as a nation. When you see the union movement attacked by Republicans day in and day out, when we see there are no guardrails in Washington, I mean, we know that for sure.”

“There are no moderate Democrats basically left — moderate Republicans left in the United States,” Perez said, corrected himself along the way.

MSNBC anchor Chris Hayes cautioned Perez about giving away company secrets.

“Careful!” Hayes said.

Of course, Blue Dog Democrats were killed off during President Barack Obama’s first term, as the party shoved Obamacare — nationalized health care — down the nation’s throat. It’s hard to image how the Democratic Party can go any further left without openly embracing socialism, which it isn’t far from doing.

“There are no moderate Republicans left in the United States Senate,” Perez added. “You know, we need to elect more Democrats in the Senate, the House and the state houses.”

Democrats like those who sit on the Senate Judiciary Committee, who engaged in a brutal 11th hour ambush of Brett Kavanaugh, hitting one of the brightest legal minds in the country with uncorroborated allegations of sexual misconduct.

As for flipping the narrative, Perez proceeds to corrupt the term “democracy” in the party’s quest for direct democracy — see mob rule — to advance its failed agenda.

“And so I see that every day, and what I see everywhere is that people understand that democracy can’t be a spectator sport anymore,” he said.

“And I see not only women are activated, but millennials are activated, Perez continued. “I see rural voters activated because we’re organizing everywhere. People understand that preexisting conditions aren’t just for Democrats or Republicans or rural voters or urban voters. These issues touch people everywhere.”
