‘Vicious, but not smart’ Omarosa airs secret recording of Trump phone call. He hits right back.

In response to fired White House aide Omarosa Manigault-Newman dropping yet another secretly recorded conversation, the latest being a phone conversation she had with President Donald Trump aired Monday morning on NBC, the president tweeted that he hired “Wacky Omarosa” because she “”begged me for a job.”

Trump also said the former “Apprentice” star was “hated,” adding that she “was vicious, but not smart.”

“Wacky Omarosa, who got fired 3 times on the Apprentice, now got fired for the last time. She never made it, never will. She begged me for a job, tears in her eyes, I said Ok. People in the White House hated her. She was vicious but not smart,” Trump tweeted on Monday.

He continues in a second tweet to say he heard “really bad things” about her, and that White House Chief of Staff John Kelly considered her a “loser.”

“Nasty to people & would constantly miss meetings & work,” the president tweeted. “When Gen. Kelly came on board he told me she was a loser & nothing but problems. I told him to try working it out, if possible, because she only said GREAT things about me – until she got fired!”

In Monday’s tape, which was recorded after Omarosa was fired, Trump does not say anything controversial, other than expressing surprise that she’d been terminated.

“Omarosa what’s going on? I just saw in the news that you’re thinking about leaving. What happened?” Trump is heard asking.

“General Kelly came to me and said that you guys wanted me to leave,” Omarosa tell him.

“Wow,” she then says, after Trump told her “nobody ever told me about it.”

“You know, they run a big operation, but I didn’t know it,”President Trump then said. “Goddamn it. I don’t love you leaving at all.”

It’s realistic to think that a troublesome, low-level aide being fired wouldn’t rank high on the list of concerns to be rushed to the desk of the leader of the free world.

Trump did send out a tweet that evening thanking Manigault-Newman for her service.

“Thank you Omarosa for your service! I wish you continued success,” he said.
