When all else fails … lower the voting age? That’s one of the latest rallying cries coming from the regressive left and don’t expect it die down any time soon.
The horrific high school massacre in Parkland, Florida has given the liberal argument that the voting age should be lowered a new push. As CNN and MSNBC have been busy politicizing the tragedy and using victims of the shooting to trash the Second Amendment and the NRA, many liberals are seeing wins at the voting booths if only voters could be younger than 18.
Harvard Law professor Laurence Tribe helped lead the charge on Twitter where he suggested that 16-year-olds should be allowed to vote since they have “far better BS detectors.”

Speaking of “BS detectors”…
A quick scan of Tribe’s Twitter timeline shows a deep disdain for President Trump. He lauds the sickening media stunts that are exploiting the Parkland kids in a time of tragedy and is hopeful America’s children will soon be running the country in terms of voting power.
Never mind that teens are notorious for making bad decisions and are heavily influenced by peers, pop culture and worse.
If you disagree with Tribe, you’re making the same argument as those who supported slavery (Democrats) in the 1800’s according to the wise professor.
Don’t laugh it off, as it could be more than just a “pipe dream” if it continues. Jason Kander, a former Army Captain and the self-proclaimed “first millennial to be elected to statewide office” runs an activist organization called “Let America Vote” and supports the idea.
CNN, a networks that has been shamelessly exploiting Parkland victims in the name of a political agenda was all of over the idea, of course:
