An emotional vigil honoring at least 36 people killed in the Oakland warehouse inferno that engulfed a rave concert turned ugly when the mayor of the embattled city took the stage.
Oakland has a long history of appeasing anarchists and other radical left protesters, but that didn’t help Mayor Libby Schaaf, who was met with jeers and catcalls as she addressed the large crowd.
“Get off the stage!” a person can be heard yelling.
“Go home!” another called out.

Oakland is a leading sanctuary city in America and Schaaf made a valiant effort to pander to the crowd.
“You will not be displaced in the place you call home,” she said.
But that only upset those gathered, who were in no mood for politics… not that the Democrat would be deterred.
“Safety is also having a community where you feel safe to be yourself, whether that is trans, queer, artist, expressive … that is how Oakland shows up.”
