One week after giving birth to her third child, a beaming Ivanka Trump introduced her father Wednesday at a campaign rally at Grumman Studios in Bethpage, Long Island.
“I’m excited tonight to introduce my father,” Ivanka told the cheering crowd. “There’s a lot of things that make Donald Trump special to me, as a parent and as a mentor, but the most important is the strength of his character.”
“As a young girl growing up my father always told me that I could do anything that I’d set my mind to. He meant it.”

Reading from a prepared statement, Ivanka told the crowd why Donald Trump would make a “highly effective president.”
“My father has also succeeded because the common denominator is himself and his absolute refusal to take no for an answer,” she said. “That will make him a strong and highly effective president. He will put America first.”
