Delegate gets upset when rare ‘USA’ chant breaks out at DNC, cites Trump as the culprit

One can be assured they’re at the 2016 Democratic National Convention when someone takes offense to the crowd cheering America.

Former Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta was hit with a chorus of boos from mostly Bernie Sanders supporters Wednesday while addressing the Democratic National Convention, along with a chant of “no more war,” which prompted Hillary Clinton supporters to respond with a competing chant of “USA! USA!”

And that didn’t sit too well with some of the delegates, as Fox News’ Shannon Bream noted in this tweet:

While GOP nominee Donald Trump will gladly accept the insinuation that supporting your country is a trait associated with him, social media users reacted with disgust. But one user summed things up best when he expressed shock that a USA chant even broke out at a Democratic convention.
