In trying to come to terms with Glenn Youngkin’s historic gubernatorial win in Virginia, in-denial, talking-point liberals across the media echo chamber continue to insist that critical race theory curriculum is not being taught in the Old Dominion state.
Brit Hume, Fox News senior political analyst, isn’t having it.
“There is ample evidence that critical race theory very much influences and is injected into what is being taught in those schools, and these parents knew that. They came to know it. It may have had something to do with the kids being at home during the pandemic and the kids — their parents getting a closer look at what their kids were learning,” Hume told Tucker Carlson on Wednesday evening.
CRT is a form of Marxist indoctrination that portrays America as irredeemable.
According to a post-election Fox News poll, one-fourth of the Virginia electorate considered CRT as the most important factor in casting their ballot for governor, and 70 percent of that cohort supported GOP standard-bearer, Youngkin. “Overall, 72% of Virginia voters said CRT was an ‘important’ factor in their vote.”
During his campaign against Democrat Terry McAuliffe, pro-parent Youngkin vowed to ban CRT upon taking office.
In direct refutation of the corporate media narrative, moreover, tireless journalist and CRT whistleblower Chris Rufo separately published the receipts establishing that the divisive content was indeed part of the education process in Virginia.

“But that was out there, and the parents were right, and Youngkin was right, and the left and Terry McAuliffe and the rest of them were wrong on the facts, and as a result, people weren’t gonna vote for somebody who didn’t think it was a problem,” Hume continued on “Tucker Carlson Tonight.”
Hume then called out the left for pedaling “baloney” and, as usual, engaging in projection.
“Youngkin did; that’s where that comes out. And of course, you have people on the left, and some, you know, chin pullers, saying ‘well, it was the Republicans who injected race into the selection.’ Baloney. Critical race theory itself injects race into the lives of our schoolchildren; it should never be — it should never have any influence let alone being taught,” he said.
“People say you can say technically it is not being taught in the sense — volumes have been written on critical race theory, and it’s not been handed out as a textbook, but its influence and its tenets is in those schools,” Hume added.
Carlson suggested that CRT is immoral however it is defined, prompting Hume to add that “What’s also wrong about it is it rests on this idea that racism and racial discrimination permeates the experience of the citizens in America, that we are inherently and almost incurably racist, and that it influences everything, and then sees the world through that prism. It’s misguided to say the very least. And people had enough of it, no doubt about it in my mind.”
As alluded to above, many media pundits — without evidence — continue to claim that CRT plays no role in Virginia public schools.

Yamiche Alcindor, for example, who works for a taxpayer-funded entity, teed it up for President Joe Biden in asking him about how Democrats should respond to Republicans who are “lying” about critical race theory. Biden’s answer was vague.
The questioning itself prompted media critic Joe Concha to observe about Alcindor that “this is an activist, not a journalist. But you already knew that.”
.@Yamiche Alcindor, Democratic Party hack: "What's your message, though, for Democratic voters, especially black voters who see Republicans running on race, education, lying about critical race theory & they're worried Democrats don't have an effective way to push back on that." pic.twitter.com/0krFGxj5nb

Conservative influencer Larry O’Connor noted that “This is revealing. Yamiche, (like so many in the media) says the CRT issue is a lie, and laments that Dems have no effective response. But the Dems’ response has been to claim it is a lie. (How else do you respond to a lie?). It hasn’t been an effective response because parents KNOW better.
“They see it in their kid’s books/lessons. Parents know with their own eyes and their own ears that it is NOT a lie. That’s why Dems don’t have an effective response. This question accidentally reveals that,” O’Connor added.
Not to be outdone in terms of self-owning, “West Wing” (the TV show that should have been titled “Left Wing”) actor Bradley Whitford who, of course, has a blue check on Twitter, clowned himself on social media with his ignorance of American history.
In a Twitter comment out of left field, apparent CRT denialist Whitfield claimed that the GOP “lost” the Civil War.
Social media users, among other things, urged him to brush up on American history (*warning for language):
NARRATOR: It deserves to be noted for Mr. @BradleyWhitford that Abraham Lincoln, the first President elected under the GOP banner, was the leader responsible for guiding the Party's role in the abolition of slavery and, consequently, the President who won the Civil fucking War. https://t.co/4XGuI3GPDP

Stop.
You simply cannot tell my kids that they are bad people because they're white — or in our case, half-Mexican — and not expect backlash.
And stop ignoring the Black woman who was elected Lt. Gov. https://t.co/pUNakAM4gV
