Editor’s Note – Further proof that Washington, DC is simply ignoring the American people, the Senate passes yet another stimulus bill aimed at bailing out Democrat election hopes so than small businesses.

This stimulus was nicely sold as a “tax package”. It truly is an amazing talent the left has in playing on words.

And, almost surprisingly, Florida Senator George LeMieux provided the necessary vote to pass the legislation. I say almost surprisingly, because, at this point, it’s almost impossible to be surprised by anything coming from Capitol Hill. Yes, this is the same George LeMieux that was appointed by Charlie Crist…

Wonder what other surprised LeMieux may have for us before November?

Republican gubernatorial candidate Rick Scott will be attending a campaign rally in Orlando tomorrow along with Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal and Scott’s running mate, Jennifer Carroll.

The event is taking place at 3:00PM at the Orlando Executive Airport.

Editor’s Note – Are you kidding me? Have the Democrats not done enough damage to their re-election chances?

Not sure if this is an indication of just how out of touch the Democrat Party is with the sentiment of the American people, or if they’ve reached a point of sheer desperation and think this move will iver Hispanic votes in November.

What is sure is that any potential threat from the far left comes a distant third to the blatant media bias in this country and conservatives being their own worst enemy.

“It’s hard to see a path for us,” one senior Republican official, who decd to be named while discussing party strategy. “Never say never, but it has become much harder for us after tonight.”

Republican Senator Jim Demint (SC) disagrees, “They believe that because she is conservative, she cannot win the general election. This is not true.

Americans living in aware their country and they’re not stupid. They know our nation is teetering on bankruptcy and economic disaster. Now they have a clear choice between a Democrat who will continue the the failed Obama-Pelosi-Reid agenda and Christine O’Donnell who will help us save our country.”

Secretary Sebelius’ Hugo Chavezesque threats against the health insurance industry demonstrate why the fight to repeal Obamacare is also the fight for the soul of our country.

Obamacare and the progressive movement represent a fundamental threat to our founding principles. For the left, “progress” means fundamentally transforming America through bureaucratic dictates that will engineer a “better” society by assuring equal outcomes.

Through Obamacare, progressives would redistribute wealth through a distant, patronizing welfare state that regulates and of the economy, politics and society. The question Americans face is: Are we a country ruled by law or by bureaucrat?

The Peg Dunmire campaign released a television commercial this past week that ends with a photo of Dunmire standing next to Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin. In addition, a Dunmire campaign e went out today through TownHall.com which prominently features the same photograph.

The photo in question was taken at the Orange County Republican Excecutive Committee Lincoln Day Dinner held on March 12, 2010. At the time, Dunmire was a registered Republican running in the district eight Republican primary.

It was not until the following week on March 18, 2010 that Dunmire announced that she was changing her party affiliation to the Florida TEA Party.

Editor’s Note – Coming on the heels of this past Sunday’s 9/12 Rally in Washington, DC, which focused primarily on getting the attention of the establishment politicians through the electoral process, today’s primary election presents another opportunity for the tea party movement to do just that.

The race to watch is in the aware primary, where a defeat of incumbent Mike Castle (R) will shake the establishment to the core.

Although Secretary Vilsack pretends to be speaking to “what Americans want”, he is really just ivering a sales pitch on behalf of an immigration policy that continues to be overwhelmingly rejected by Americans.

If he were truly interested in discussing “what Americans want”, Secretary Vilsack would begin by discussing the need to increase border security, the need to fund the completion of a border fence, and the need to increase enforcement of the immigration laws that are already on the bos.

The fact that he prefers to spin yarns about the price of produce tells you everything you need to know about what the Obama administration’s priorities truly are. Americans should insist that the USDA get out of the business of amnesty and return to the business of agriculture.

The President’s new spending plan should be seen as an effort to shore up support within a key constituency: organized labor.

First revealed at a Wisconsin labor union picnic on Labor Day, the $50 billion in infrastructure spending represents tens of billions of dollars in high, federally mandated, Davis-Bacon wages for unionized construction workers.

More government spending to placate Big Labor is not the solution to America’s economic woes, but something else can be done.

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Thursday shows that 23% of the nation’s voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as president. Forty-seven percent (47%) Strongly Disapprove, giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -24.

Today’s Approval Index rating is the lowest yet recorded for this president.

Overall Job Approval matches the lowest recorded number, and the number who Strongly Disapprove matches the highest yet recorded.

Editor’s Note – Desperation is setting in!

With less than 60 days to go and behind in most polls, the Democrat Party is trying one time to turn the momentum created by the tea party movement into their favor.

Anyone surprised that the far left would find ‘fiscal responsibility’ as such an extremist view? As for a ‘Tea Party Congress’, we should be so lucky. The Progressive Socialist Party, formerly known as the Democrat Party, should fear the tea party, because, ready or not, November is coming!
