GOP frontrunner Donald J. Trump unloaded on his likely opponent in next year’s election, hammering President Joe Biden over his failings and asking why Republicans haven’t used a constitutional remedy that’s available to prevent him from doing any more damage.
The former president took to his Truth Social platform where he tore into his successor over the controversial $6 billion prisoner deal with Iran and wondered why Republican lawmakers haven’t invoked the 25th Amendment against the “Dumb as a ROCK” Democrat leader.
On Monday, the five Americans who had been held in captivity in the Islamic Republic were finally free and on their way back home as Biden patted himself on the back for cutting a deal that some have contended will only embolden future hostage-taking.
“Today, five innocent Americans who were imprisoned in Iran are finally coming home,” the president said in a statement marking the occasion as Trump cut through the spin with his own take on the momentous occasion.
“This absolutely ridiculous 6 Billion Dollar Hostage Deal with Iran has set a terrible PRECEDENT for the future. Buckel up, you are going to see some terrible things start to happen. The 3 years ago highly respected USA has become a laughingstock all over the WORLD. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN. VOTE TRUMP!!!” Trump wrote in the first of a trio of smoking hot blasts at Biden.

“I brought 58 HOSTAGES home from many different countries, including North Korea, and I never paid anything. They all understood they MUST LET THESE PEOPLE COME HOME! Toward the end, it got so that countries didn’t even start the conversation asking for money, because they knew they would not get it. Once you pay, you always pay, & MANY MORE HOSTAGES WILL BE TAKEN. Our grossly incompetent ‘leader,’ Crooked Joe Biden, gave 6 BILLION DOLLARS for 5 people. Iran gave ZERO for 5. He’s Dumb as a ROCK!” Trump added in his second bunker buster dropped on the mentally disintegrating octogenarian.

Topping it off, Trump wondered why the 25th Amendment – which his enemies often suggested using when he was in office – has seemingly been taken off the table for Biden despite a rapidly growing volume of evidence that many would likely argue indicates that he’s a prime candidate.

“After seeing what has happened to our beautiful USA in such a short period of time, including Afghanistan, Self Imposed Inflation, Energy Independence, the Horrors of the Open Border, NO VOTER I.D., & now, 6 Billion Dollars for 5 Hostages from Iran, I ASK, WHY HASN’T THE REPUBLICAN PARTY BEGUN THE PROCESS OF INVOKING THE 25th AMENDMENT AGAINST THE WORST & MOST INCOMPETENT PRESIDENT IN THE HISTORY OF THE UNITED STATES, CROOKED JOE BIDEN? With these facts, they would have done it to us long ago!” Trump concluded.
Republicans slammed the Biden administration’s captive swap with one of the planet’s top state sponsors of terrorism, a deal that included the unfreezing of the $6 billion which some likened to a “ransom” payment, news that was made all the more unpalatable in that it made headlines on the 22nd anniversary of 9/11, the most deadly terror attacks ever carried out on domestic soil.
Trump had previously weighed in on the lopsided swap on Truth Social, “How much of a kickback does Crooked Joe Biden get? Does anyone realize how much money 6 Billion Dollars is?”
