Kristi Noem camp blasts TIMELY media allegation of years-long adulterous affair with Trump advisor

South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem is being accused of having an affair by the media less than a week after she endorsed former President Trump as rumors swirled she could be his running mate for 2024.

The Daily Mail is alleging that she has had a years-long affair with former Trump advisor Corey Lewandowski, something she has previously denied as a “disgusting lie.”

The governor’s spokesman Ian Fury responded via a statement, saying “This is so predictable that you would attack Governor Noem less than a week after she endorsed Donald J. Trump as the 47th President of the United States.”

“As Governor Noem said during that endorsement speech: ‘Yes, I will be attacked for speaking the truth to all of you tonight. Yes, I expect Joe Biden, these candidates, their political operatives, and the media will perpetuate ugly, hateful misinformation in an attempt to destroy me and my family because of my opinions,'” the statement asserted.

“It’s nothing new. I’m getting used to it honestly,” Noem stated concerning potential incoming attacks.

Both Noem and Lewandowski are married to other people and each of them has children.

The Daily Mail claims the affair has been going on since at least 2019. The outlet asserted that neither Noem nor Lewandowski denied an affair which seems a hefty stretch for declaring them guilty of such a thing.

“The two met up on Friday last week when Lewandowski traveled with Trump to Rapid City, South Dakota, for a campaign rally. But the pair – who were made aware of a pending story about their relationship – were careful to have no public interaction in contrast to previous occasions, as DailyMail.com’s exclusive photos show,” the Daily Mail reported.

The outlet claims that one GOP operative told them, “He may not be very smart, but it takes big balls to lobby to have your mistress named one of the most powerful people in the country.”

Rumors of an affair have been circulating since 2021 with some calling it an inside secret.

When Noem got wind of the rumor previously, she called the story “total garbage and a disgusting lie.” She contended she loved her husband and was “proud of the God-fearing family” they had raised.

Suddenly, the Daily Mail claims it has uncovered extensive evidence of the affair that includes dozens of “trips that mixed business with pleasure, flights on donors’ private planes, and stays at luxury resorts where their intimacy was observed and noted.”

The media outlet claims that former Trump operative Charles Johnson saw them both acting “in a very flirtatious manner” at the August 2020 meeting of the Republican Attorneys General Association (RAGA) at The Cloister resort on Sea Island, Georgia.

Johnson says that he saw Noem take Lewandowski’s hand and put it in her lap. He allegedly put his arm on her back at the same time. Johnson wrote on Substack that the two “seemed to be dating despite being married to other people.”

The Daily Mail noted that Lewandowski “allegedly had an affair with campaign press secretary Hope Hicks, and in the run-up to the 2016 election he was arrested for manhandling Breitbart News reporter Michelle Fields at a press conference in Florida. Charges were later dropped.”

“Following a party at the Trump International Hotel in Washington, singer Joy Villa filed a police report against Lewandowski for sexual assault, saying he ‘smacked my ass really hard’, and that it was ‘almost violent in nature,'” the outlet continued.

The Daily Mail also recounted another alleged sexual indiscretion committed by Lewandowski.

“According to published accounts, after quickly getting drunk, Lewandowski was escorted to a banquet table where he joined dignitaries including Trashelle Odom, wife of a major Trump donor, construction executive John Odom,” the outlet reported.

“Lewandowski propositioned Odom after disclosing that he had once stabbed two people to death, that his penis was way longer than normal, and showed her his hotel key,” the Daily Mail noted.

That incident reportedly got Lewandowski fired from Trump’s team. Noem also cut ties with him at the time but she has reportedly resumed working with him.

Critics call the Daily Mail story a political hit piece.

It remains to be seen if any of the allegations amount to anything at all but there is no doubt the timing of the accusation can’t be ignored as the long knives not only come out from the Left but from the Right for Noem.
