Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.), fresh off being booed and heckled to retire, proclaimed that impeaching President Biden over blatant corruption is “not good for the country.”
He evidently tried to quash the move to impeach Biden in the House of Representatives while giving an interview to The New York Times on Tuesday, “I said two years ago, when we had not one but two impeachments, that once we go down this path it incentivizes the other side to do the same thing.”
“Impeachment ought to be rare,” he asserted. “This is not good for the country.”
House Republicans have been holding lengthy and damning investigations into Biden’s potential influence peddling and corruption. They have been slow to pull the impeachment trigger but are edging ever closer to it as mountains of evidence against the Biden clan mount.

Even House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) is demanding transparency from President Biden, insisting on Monday that he “give us his bank statements” to prove he did not make millions off Hunter Biden’s foreign business dealings.
“I think there’s enough proof out there that this Biden family needs to come forward and show there wasn’t a pay-to-play,” McCarthy told Fox News host Sean Hannity in an interview.
It’s not about Hunter Biden. We know President Biden has lied about his own involvement in a pay-to-play scheme where money was funneled through 20 shell companies to at least nine members of the Biden family.

McCarthy has called for an impeachment inquiry. Actual impeachment would follow that move if enough evidence is found to do so and many contend there is more than enough of that with Hunter Biden’s corrupt dealings being exposed and Biden being directly implicated in them. McCarthy has also said that if the Democrats don’t turn over requested evidence that it would lead to impeachment.
Many conservatives are incensed there has not been an impeachment of Biden already considering credible whistleblower testimony and the money trail involved.
Meanwhile, the White House is acting offended, as if Biden is above such things and can’t be touched.
“Instead of pursuing this shameless and baseless impeachment stunt, House Republicans and Speaker McCarthy should join the president to work on continuing to bring down inflation and lower costs, create jobs, and grow the economy,” Democrat spokesman Ian Sams contended in a statement obtained by the New York Post.
Rep. Jim Jordan: “Joe Biden said he had ‘no involvement’…’No involvement’ except dinners, phones calls, and 30 plus meetings with Hunter Biden’s business partners.”
ENOUGH OF THE TALK – START THE IMPEACHMENT HEARINGS!

In the 247-year history of the United States, there have only been four presidential impeachments. Three occurred in the last 24 years. One was for former President Clinton and two were for former President Trump. Former President Andrew Johnson was impeached in 1868. All of the presidents involved were acquitted.
McConnell is not considered a conservative and has, at times, actively worked against House Republicans who wanted to slow spending by Democrats.
He is 81 years old and has had a series of falls lately. He hit his head during the last one. McConnell also froze for a protracted period during a press conference in July, engendering whispers that he may have had a stroke.
This week, during a speech in Kentucky, he was drowned out by booing and calls for him to “retire.”

Appearing to defend President Biden over what many feel is indefensible is not going to improve Mitch McConnell’s image or popularity with Americans currently.
McConnell was hammered for speaking against the impeachment of Biden:
So McConnell says that a Biden impeachment would not be good for the country. This entire Biden administration is not good for the country. Impeach.

Mitch McConnell advising against the Biden Impeachment tells me one thing.
He’s not on our team.
He needs to go.

When he says “not good for the country”, what he really means is “not good for my DC bubble”

The entire tower of treasonous traitors needs to be completely exposed and removed. I’ll wager that The Turtle is in the top 10.

McConnell tells fellow Republicans to pull back on any talk on impeachment. Why? Because China has him by his swiveled old nads too!
