It doesn’t matter if you pet them every day, clean their litter box religiously, and buy them only the finest kibble and catnip, cats are gonna do whatever they’re going to do.
Sometimes this means spending a disappointing amount of time hanging out with your neighbors, as one irate couple learned. These people engaged in a cartoonish confrontation with the kindly neighbor, having the audacity to tell him that he should shoo the cat, named Mercury, away and force her to spend time at home. According to an article, the couple actually went as far as to call the police who of course had no authority at all over the matter.
And the very next day, the cat was back in the neighbor’s yard. Probably to get away from the bad vibes those two are giving off in abundance.
