‘Let’s chat!’ Musk makes offer for hot Freedom movie; singer Jewel blasts media for bias

A Grammy Award-nominated singer-songwriter called to end corporate media’s politicization of “Sound of Freedom” with a nod to billionaire Elon Musk’s status quo-busting suggestion.

Known for performing by just her first name, Jewel Kilcher had high praise for the Angel Studios distributed film exposing the horrible realities of global human trafficking and the child sex trade. She also took umbrage with the blatant effort of “some media” to divide the public on “Sound of Freedom” by portraying it as connected to “conspiracy theories.”

“It saddens me that some media is trying to politicize this movie. This is not left or right. It’s about millions of kids being trafficked, and no matter your faith or creed, we need to protect all the vulnerable kids rather than fight over philosophical differences,” Jewel captioned a short video message she posted to social media Monday.

In it, she began, “You guys, I just saw the ‘Sound of Freedom.’ You have to see it. I’m so verklempt. Some friends of mine made his movie and I’ve — it’s been years of it being in production. It’s the most inspiring film.”

The entertainer went on to add, “Did you know that there are millions of children in slavery? This is the fastest growing criminal enterprise and the amount of children enslaved right now is greater than all 300 years of the trans-Atlantic slave trade? What the actual f?”

While leftist echo chambers parroted the suggestion that the production was tainted by “QAnon conspiracy theories,” an idea talked up by the likes of CNN, The Washington Post, and Rolling Stone, tech entrepreneur Elon Musk had gotten ahead of the narrative with the same offer he had made to Daily Wire contributors Matt Walsh and Dr. Jordan B. Peterson.

“I recommend putting it on this platform for free for a brief period or just asking people to subscribe to support (we would not keep any funds),” the billionaire had tweeted midway through June, weeks before “Sound of Freedom” released in theaters.

Though no arrangement has officially been announced, and the film has continued to be a box office success pulling in over $45 million in its first week at the box office, the official social media account for “Sound of Freedom” had replied, “That’s an interesting idea. Let’s chat!’

Jewel and Musk were far from the only public figures offering their support for the film’s important message as UFC President Dana White used his own resources to encourage others to see it. Over the weekend, he posted his own video that included Academy Award winner Mel Gibson’s promotion, and explained, “I’m gonna give any of my UFC employees that wanna see this movie free tickets to go see it, and I would like to encourage other executives to do the same at their company.”

Closing out her message, Jewel remarked, “This is a true story about a man who just doesn’t give up on a child. It is so touching, you’re gonna love it! Please go see it. This is the little indie movie that could. It’s competing with all of the giant blockbusters and it’s kicking butt and it deserves it.”
