Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley warned on Sunday that China is ahead of the United States in preparing for war, while the Biden administration is focused on “gender pronoun classes.”
“China has been preparing for war with us for decades. And the way we have to deal with China is [to] not look at it tomorrow, because if we keep waiting to deal with them tomorrow, they will deal with us today,” the former UN ambassador said during an appearance on Fox News Sunday.
“If you look at the military situation, they now have the largest naval fleet in the world. They have 340 ships, we have 293. They are going to have 400 in two years — we won’t even have 350 in two decades. They have started developing hypersonic missiles,” Haley said.
“We’re just now getting started. They are modernizing their military, our military’s taking gender pronoun classes,” she continued. “Look at what they’re doing on cyber, artificial intelligence, space – they’re ahead of us.”
As for the reference to pronouns, a timely photo of U.S. Army Major Rachel Jones, a biological man who now claims to be a woman is making the rounds online.
Not only that, the U.S. Army celebrated the one-time “suicidal” service member in a recent online feature: “The U.S. Army Sustainment Command Cyber Division chief, G6 (Information Management), struggled with depression and suicidal ideation for most of her life. Today, she is living her truth and is no longer battling depression or suicidal thoughts.”

Haley cautioned on Sunday that we must stop allowing China to buy up U.S. farmland and put a halt to the flow of fentanyl across the US-Mexico border, even “if that means we end normal trade relations with them.”
In a speech last week at the American Enterprise Institute, Haley stressed that China is “much more than a mere ‘competitor.'”
“Communist China is an enemy. We have to stop wasting time,” she said, according to the Daily Mail, describing Beijing as the “most dangerous foreign threat we’ve faced since the Second World War.”
“We’ve tried sanctions but they’re not working. We must ratchet up the pressure. As president, I will push Congress to revoke permanent normal trade relations until the flow of fentanyl ends,” she said.
Currently polling at 3% in the 2024 Republican presidential primary, Haley told Fox News anchor Shannon Bream that she believes poll numbers will change once debates are held.
“We can look at past presidential elections and understand that national polls just don’t matter right now,” she explained. “I mean, we’ve got a debate in August. We’ve got a debate in September. We’ve got a debate in October. I have qualified to be on the debate stage. Having been 3% in a five-way governor’s race, I know that this is all about hard work.”
