‘Today was one of the scariest days I have ever had’: Shark snatches man off boat

A shocking video captured the precise moment a shark latched onto the hand of a careless fisherman and pulled him into the drink.

The incident reportedly took place at Florida’s Everglades National Park, with the man seen reaching his hands over the edge of the boat to wash them in the water and that’s when a lemon shark chomped down on one of his hands and pulled the man into the water.

He quickly scrambles to get back in the boat as his fellow fishermen freak out. The injured man was eventually airlifted to a nearby hospital by Miami-Dade Fire Rescue, according to Local 10.

Michael Russo, one of the men on the boat, shared the video with the local news affiliate.

“Today was one of the scariest days on the water I have ever had. It started off great and we were crushing the fish but the sharks were eating some, despite our best efforts. After releasing a snook, Nick washed his hands in the water and was immediately bit by a large [lemon] shark,” he said.
