An Ecuadorian pilot set an incredibly high standard for aviators everywhere when he managed to remain calm, cool and collected in the aftermath of a mid-air collision with a rather large bird.
The bloodied but unbothered pilot, Ariel Valiente, managed to get a short video of the incident showing the bird dangling from the window as well as his own face. As one commenter noted, it looked like “something out of a horror movie.”
