Former Democrat senator and U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry who is now Joe Biden’s Special Presidential Envoy for Climate has a long history of making asinine statements but he truly outdid himself when he reportedly likened the climate change grift to D-Day, a pivotal moment in western civilization that temporarily saved the world from fascism.
On June 6, 1944, American and Allied troops stormed the beaches at Normandy in an invasion that would begin the process of prying Europe from the clutches of the Nazis, a heroic day albeit a costly one as the first waves of troops were massacred by machine gun fire from heavily fortified German positions, cut down in the prime of their lives on a day when the tides ran red with the blood of heroes.
Kerry chose to desecrate their memories by invoking the moment of their ultimate sacrifice during a speech to industry leaders in Norway as he marked the 79th anniversary of the day that altered history and used the occasion to pimp the lucrative green hustle.
“Today is June 6th. D-day. One of the most singularly important moments of history,” Kerry told the crowd, according to a report from Recharge, a website that bills itself as an outlet for global news and intelligence for the energy transition. “A moment that calls to mind every single thing that defined the past half of the 20th century and beginning of the 21st century.”
“They were fighting for a set of values I would say to you are just as important today as they were then. They put their lives on the line to fight against fascism, tyranny and misinformation and the savage slaughter of innocent lives,” he said, paying tribute to the heroes of D-Day before hijacking them in order to advance the climate scheme.
“Make no mistake, just as that was a fight for the future as much as anything we have ever faced, what we are seeing now is the same,” the Massachusetts windbag would later add.
Kerry said that the world faces a similar moment in a “decisive decade” with the failure to carry out the mission against the climate having more dire consequences than if the D-Day landings have failed, ” if the right choices are not made,” according to the outlet.
“What is also clear right now is we can also win this fight, but it requires the same level of innovation and mobilization that was required back then by those in the greatest generation,” Kerry said.
“Today’s threat comes from all of us. It comes from the result of the things we do or avoid doing,” the climate czar added, suggesting that the enemy has changed now that the jackboots are being worn by a globalist technocratic elite instead of Hitler’s thugs.
“This is the fight of our times. A fight against greed, selfishness, disinformation and outright lies and a fight for that cleaner, healthier and more prosperous and safer world,” Kerry said.
