Before her death, blind mystic Baba Vanga predicted nuclear disaster in 2023

A blind mystic who was born during the Ottoman Empire predicted before her death that the Earth would be ravaged by some sort of nuclear disaster in the year 2023.

“The mystic is said to have warned of a major nuclear power plant explosion in 2023 that would cause toxic clouds to settle over Asia. Her followers believe that other countries could be affected by the explosion due to the spread of serious diseases as the toxic clouds fill the air,” according to news.com.au.

But why is anyone taking Baba Vanga’s predictions seriously? Because plenty of her other predictions have seemingly turned out to be 100 percent correct.

For example, she claimed that in 1999 the Russian nuclear sub known as the Kursk  “will be covered with water and the whole world will weep over it.” Though off by a few months, she was ultimately right, as the sub sank in August of 2020.

“A Russian nuclear submarine sinks to the bottom of the Barents Sea on August 12, 2000; all 118 crew members are later found dead. The exact cause of the disaster remains unknown,” the History Channel notes.

Baba Vanga, who died in 1996, also predicted in 1989 that something bad would happen to Americans.

“Horror, horror! The American brethren will fall after being attacked by the steel birds. The wolves will be howling in a bush, and innocent blood will be gushing,” she reportedly said.

Many suspect this prediction concerns the Sept. 11th terror attack.

Fast-forwarding back to the present, Vanga made a slew of correct predictions about 2022.

“She predicted that large cities around the world would be hit by significant droughts and water shortages. The UK has just experienced the driest July since 1935 and the government officially declared a drought on 12th August 2022. Some experts are warning that the drought in London could even continue into the new year,” Sky History notes.

“Baba Vanga also predicted that Australia and Asia would be rocked by severe floods. In July, eight months of rain fell in Sydney in just four days which lead to flooding for the third time in 2022. Meanwhile, Japan’s official weather agency has warned of flooding in Tokyo and the surrounding areas as the country battles a major tropical storm,” according to Sky History.

She also reportedly predicted that the 44th U.S. president would be a black man. She was right about that.

And she correctly predicted the 1984 assassination of then-Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.

“Indira Gandhi, who served as prime minister of India in the early 1980s, was one of the most significant and controversial political figures of her time. In 1984, she ordered a military attack on the Golden Temple, the holiest site in Sikhism. In October of that year, she was shot dead by two of her Sikh bodyguards, in an apparent act of revenge,” according to Sky History.

“Many years before, in 1969, Baba Vanga had a vision of Gandhi, saying ‘The dress will destroy her. I see an orange-yellow dress in the smoke and fire.’ On the fateful day the bodyguards opened fire, Indira Gandhi was indeed wearing a saffron-hued saree.”

According to “experts,” 68 percent of her predictions have been correct. To be fair, she’s also made many incorrect predictions.

“Among her incorrect predictions were that the 45th president of the US would be faced with a crisis which would ‘bring the country down'” Donald Trump certainly faced some huge challenges while in office, but America is still standing,” news.com.au notes.

“Baba Vanga also wrongly predicted that the 1994 World Cup Final would be played by two teams with names beginning with ‘B’ (the finalists were Brazil and Italy), as well as a nuclear war between 2010 and 2014 that didn’t eventuate.”

All this said, she did make a couple of other predictions about 2023.

“Firstly, she is said to have predicted that the Earth’s orbit will change. While our planet’s orbit around the sun shifts marginally over tens of thousands of years, a more dramatic change would be devastating. A movement closer to the sun would melt glaciers and flood the planet, while a movement farther away could plunge us into an ice age,” according to news.com.au.

“Baba Vanga is also believed to have predicted a powerful solar storm that will rock the climate in 2023. Solar storms are disturbances on the sun which can emanate outward across the heliosphere and impact Earth. Some have interpreted her words to mean that a solar tsunami is coming, which could cause major technology failures — though minor solar storms occur fairly regularly without devastation.”
