‘Get the hell out of my face’: Female reporter checks unruly hockey fan with big-league stiff arm

A CBS News Miami reporter executed a very effective stiff arm when an excited hockey fan tried to interrupt her live shot, and she did it with a smile on her face.

Reporter Samantha Rivera was providing a recap of Game 2 of the NHL Stanley Cup after the Las Vegas Golden Knights beat the Florida Panthers. It was a noisy atmosphere as she delivered her report and, at one point, a Las Vegas fan tried to jump in front of her to ham for the camera, but Rivera was having no part of that nonsense.

Without missing a beat, a determined Rivera extended her arm and shoved the burly guy completely out of the frame — all the while she can be heard repeating the word, “Nope!”

Taking to Twitter later to share the footage, a feisty Rivera tweeted, “Listen, I don’t give a damn what team you’re rooting for – get the hell out of my face when I’m working and respect that I’m here to do my job. Excited to get back home to some classy #Panthers fans for game 3!!”

As seen above, she not only successfully blocked the Knights fan but dumped shade on Las Vegas fans too!

Rivera’s tactics gained her a lot of newfound fans online… here’s a quick sampling of responses to the story from Twitter.
