Epstein’s victims demand bank owns up to abuse in scathing letters: ‘Does nobody at JPMorgan have a conscience?’

Three of Jeffrey Epstein’s victims have written scathing letters begging JPMorgan to come clean and admit they knew about the pedophile’s abuse as CEO Jamie Dimon contends he never had anything to do with Epstein and knew nothing about his proclivities.

The mega-bank is facing two lawsuits alleging that the institution played a role in the late financier’s sex-trafficking ring, according to the Daily Mail. Top executives at the bank are asserting different stories than what Dimon is telling as well.

The suits were filed by the US Virgin Islands and lawyers representing Epstein’s victims. They charge that JPMorgan Chase knew about Epstein’s pedophilic activities for years and that the corporation aided in his depraved actions while turning a blind eye to them.

A judge has ruled that the lawsuits can proceed and has ordered JPMorgan Chase to hand over any records involving CEO Jamie Dimon and former executives James Staley. Dimon and Staley were close friends at one time but it appears that is no longer the case with the two power-players turning on one another. Dimon claims Staley concealed information about Epstein’s account from the bank. Staley is laying the blame on Dimon.

Dimon testified last week under oath that he doesn’t remember ever receiving any letters from Epstein’s victims. He was then confronted with a heart-wrenching letter from one woman who was 16 when she was caught up in Epstein’s network.

“Dear Jamie Dimon,” Haley Robson wrote. “I cannot begin to explain how Epstein has consumed my life. I cannot make you see, force you to feel or even request that you show compassion to all the survivors.”

“I don’t understand how so many people, colleagues, knew what was going on, or had evidence and information that could have helped us, and chose not to speak up,” the letter claimed, according to the Daily Beast.

She tore into Dimon, squarely blaming him and his bank for ignoring Epstein’s atrocities.

“Why did we all get picked apart publicly when the reality is you and many more knew something and didn’t speak up?!” Robson added, referring to a prior smear campaign used against Epstein’s victims by his attorney to discredit them after he was convicted of soliciting prostitution from underage girls in 2008.

“I may not be as smart as you, but we should at least agree that the information you withheld has hurt me and many others,” Robson charged. “Everyone makes mistakes and has regrets. If you are a good human you will just admit to making a mistake and be the first to try to do what is right to end this chapter on a positive note for all of us.”

During that smear campaign, Staley reportedly visited Epstein in prison in the Virgin Islands after his conviction.

Epstein avoided federal trafficking charges at the time and then posed for a photo with Staley and former JPMorgan Treasury Secretary Lawrence Summers in celebration of it.

Another victim named Courtney Wild wrote a blistering letter as well to executive Mary Erdoes in May, pleading for support and justice in the matter. Following Epstein’s 2008 plea deal, Wild sued the US government over Epstein’s abuse.

Wild’s handwritten letter dated May 8, stated, “JP Morgan was Epstein’s right hand in allowing him to become the most abusive sex offender in history. Yet, rather than acknowledging a wrong doing, accepting responsibility, making an apology to all of us, and doing what is right. I understand that JP Morgan has unleashed an army of lawyers to torture the victims who brought the cases and put them through even more pain and suffering.”

“Does nobody at JP Morgan have a conscience?” she demanded. “I have fought my entire adult life against Jeffrey Epstein, his powerful associates, his investigators, his lawyers, and even the US government for justice. I don’t want to have to fight you too.”

There was a third letter from an unnamed victim that reportedly went to Erdoes as well. The woman recounted how she was abused by Epstein during what she thought was a job interview at his Manhattan apartment. She sued JPMorgan last November alleging that the bank presided over Epstein’s sex trafficking endeavors while keeping him as a client for 14 years.

The unnamed victim claimed that a “powerful financial executive” who was close friends with Epstein had sexually assaulted her but she wouldn’t name him “out of fear.” Since then, the identity of that executive has been purportedly revealed to be Staley, who left JPMorgan in 2013 to move to Barclay’s. Staley became the CEO of Barclay’s in 2015 but resigned there in 2021 after he was connected to Epstein by regulators.

JPMorgan Chase is trying to lay all the blame on Staley but it appears the contagion has spread to Dimon and the bank itself.
