A graduating student at City University of New York’s (CUNY) public law school grabbed headlines for her crazed commencement speech in which she attacked “fascist” police, called for revolution, and railed against Jews in an “anti-Semitic” rant that has drawn the condemnation of Jewish groups and New York City Mayor Eric Adams.
In her May 12 diatribe that didn’t initially get much attention, future lawyer Fatima Mousa Mohammed, who is a Yemeni immigrant, said that the law is a “manifestation of white supremacy,” accused Israel of murdering Palestinians, and called for a fight against “Zionism around the world,” words so divisive that Hizzoner himself called her out.
“I was proud to offer a different message at this year’s CUNY law commencement ceremony — one that celebrates the progress of our city and country, and one that honors those who fight to keep us safe and protect our freedoms, like my uncle Joe, who died at age 19 in Vietnam while giving his life for our country” Adams wrote on Twitter. “We cannot allow words of negativity and divisiveness to be the only ones our students hear.”
Adams, who was booed by CUNY students during his own speech, wasn’t the only one to denounce Mohammed’s hatemongering, as Jewish groups and individuals expressed their outrage over her angry diatribe.
“Graduations should be a place for all — not a time to denigrate students’ identities,” the New York/New Jersey chapter of the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) wrote on the day of the speech, also retweeting a statement from the Jewish Community Relations Council of New York (JRCC).
“We are appalled to see such an egregious display of hostility toward ‘Zionists’ (which is how many Jews see themselves) and Israel in CUNY Law’s commencement address. This is yet another example of the harm Jewish students experience on campus,” the ADL said.

“Raging antisemitism has fully consumed the City University of New York. Until the administration is overhauled and all Jewish students and faculty are welcome again, taxpayer funding must be immediately halted,” said former New York Congressman Lee Zeldin.

“Vile anti-American & anti-Israel speech promoting hate. Totally unacceptable graduation speech for taxpayers funded institution. @CUNY & @CUNYLaw should immediately condemn this hateful speech & take all steps necessary to address such dangerous rhetoric!” New York City Council Member Ari Kagan tweeted.

SAFE CUNY, which advocates for Zionist Jews who are “systemically discriminated against” within the CUNY system spread awareness by posting Mohammed’s speech in its entirety to Twitter.
“Here in its entirety is the vitriolic, evil, antisemitic @CUNYLaw commencement address from Jew hater Fatima Mohammed,” the group wrote. “Unimaginably, it is even worse than last year’s hate spewed by Nerdeen Kiswani. No wonder CUNY Law, under state investigation, tried to hide this video.”

Also slamming the speech was Senator Ted Cruz (R-Texas) who tweeted, “City University of New York class day speaker slanders Israel & enthusiastically celebrates antisemitism. Cheers on open borders & releasing violent criminals from jail. And decries the ‘fascist NYPD.’ This is a LAW school.Paid for with tax dollars.”

Not helping matters for the radical law graduate is video evidence of her anti-Semitism in which he called for Jewish professors to be removed from campus, a chilling call to action with echoes of a certain European country in the 1930s.
(Video: The Daily Mail)
In a statement to Fox News Digital which asked CUNY Law about the backlash to the speech, the school said, “[S]tudent speakers… offered congratulatory remarks and their own individual perspectives on advocating for social justice. As with all such commencement remarks, they reflect the voices of those individuals.”
