Hollywood lawyer, ‘sugar brother’ helping take care of Hunter Biden’s needs: report

Garnering a reputation as a “sugar brother,” various reports indicated how Hunter Biden’s high-profile Hollywood attorney assisted the supposedly financially struggling first son.

On May 1, President Joe Biden’s son was obligated to travel to Batesville, Arkansas to handle a legal dispute far more personal than those federal and congressional investigations have focused on. His at-length denials of fathering a child with Lunden Roberts weren’t enough to keep him from having to pay $20,000 a month in child support.

After a court order mandated Biden appear at the May 1 hearing to speak on his own behalf as to why he could not afford such a hefty sum, the New York Post reported how his friend, celebrity attorney and Democrat donor Kevin Morris had accommodated the luxury travel arrangements to get him to court on time, Fox News reported.

Biden’s April 30 flight from Los Angeles to Washington, D.C. en route to his Arkansas child support hearing and back to the Capitol was aboard a 2001 Dassault Falcon 50 worth $6 million and registered to Plato LLC, the Post indicated. Morris was reported as the principal of that corporation that doled out an estimated $55,000 to $117,000 in order to transport Biden to the hearing to argue for a reduction in payments to support his four-year-old daughter, Navy Joan.

The same plane was reported traveling in and out of Fayetteville, Arkansas, the home of Biden’s financial adviser, Edward Prewitt, at least nine times from Feb. 2022 to April 2023, suggesting the “sugar brother” had acquired a vested interest beyond his initially reported $2 million in assistance to cover delinquent tax payments connected to an IRS investigation.

As the New York Times presented it, when the pair met at a Dec. 2019 fundraiser for then-candidate Joe Biden’s 2020 presidential campaign, Morris, “soon developed an almost paternal affection” for the younger Biden.

Since then, along with the tax payment, the luxury flights, help selling art and his own investment in a documentary about Biden related to his 2021 memoir “Beautiful Things,” which Morris had aided in completing, the attorney for stars like Matthew McConaughey, Scarlett Johansson and Ellen DeGeneres has also been accredited as integral in strategizing ways to defend Biden.

Previously, he had been said to have played a significant role in a Sept. 2022 strategy session where, in addition to calling out critics for potential defamation suits, he reportedly “outlined extensive research on two potential witnesses against Hunter Biden — a spurned business partner named Tony Bobulinski and a computer repairman named John Paul Mac Isaac,” the latter known for reporting the infamous laptop from hell.

“Morris, at the meeting in his California home, described defamation lawsuits the team could pursue against the presidential son’s critics, including Fox News, Eric Trump and Rudy Giuliani,” a report from the New York Post had indicated.

In addition to his favor toward the first son, Morris has also used his considerable assets to help leftists writ large, having reportedly contributed $50,000 to the American Bridge 21st Century PAC, responsible for opposition research against Republican politicians, and another $50,000 to Americans Keeping Country First, a PAC that supported the few Republican members of Congress that sided with the impeachment of former President Donald Trump after Jan. 6.
