‘Juicy Smolette vibe’: LGBTQ+ allies declare Florida ‘trash’ over harassment claim

Attention seeking alphabet soup “allies” had a lot to say about their trip to “trash” Florida only to get called out for giving off a strong “Juicy Smolette vibe.”

“Of all the things that never happened…”

For as long as Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) has been notching victories in the culture war, unhinged leftists have sought ways to vilify him, his administration and his supporters. Last year’s corporate media-fueled smear campaign over the Parental Rights in Education Act, reported as the “so-called ‘Don’t Say Gay Bill,'” had paved the way for this year’s travel advisories warning Democrat voting blocs to stay away from the Sunshine State.

After declaring that she and her husband would be sporting “rainbows and ally sh*t” in Florida over the weekend, one woman’s dubious claims accompanying a contradictory selfie set Twitter users afire with mockery.

“We are in Florida. We have been called ugly, had anti #LGBTQIA slurs yelled at us, and had lotion thrown all over our windshield at Target,” she claimed on an account that has since been turned private and then shut down. “We are a straight white couple. Allies. Florida is trash. That’s all. I will wear rainbows all day every day; f*ck you, Florida trash.”

One reaction fully encapsulated social media’s response harkening back to actor Jussie Smollett’s 2019 claim of being the victim of a hate crime by supporters of then-President Donald Trump, for which he was sentenced to 150 days in jail for filing a false police report.

“And then everyone yelled ‘THIS IS MAGA COUNTRY!’ as it started snowing,” came the reply.

A previous tweet had suggested the social media user was at least somewhat up to date with the leftist narrative on Florida that had recently seen the Human Rights Campaign join with Equality Florida, the NAACP and LULAC in issuing travel advisories against the state.

“Because of Ron DeSantis and his frenzied appeal to extremists, LGBTQ+ people in Florida are finding themselves in a state of emergency every single day. Since the day he took office, Governor DeSantis has weaponized his position to weave bigotry, hate, and discrimination into public law for his own political gain,” Human Rights Campaign president Kelley Robinson alleged.

“Going to Florida tomorrow night for the weekend, and I’m just going to wear rainbows and ally sh*t the entire time. Come at me, cousin f*ckers,” the user had noted Thursday in a post another highlighted to call out her claims of harassment, “Yeah, they’re just so awful and hateful, and you’re just so nice and kind. Oh wait …”

Others piled on about the nature of her story including one who noted how remarkable it was that someone so interested in attention had failed to document any of her stories with photo or video, “‘ Here I am, extremely online and with a camera for attention, but I totally forgot I had a phone when all this harassment happened. Trust me. It was bad. I died. Twice,'” while someone else zeroed in on her husband’s appearance and the added description of being a “straight white couple.”

“Wait. That’s a guy?”
