‘The View’ sneers at Tim Scott, say he has ‘Clarence Thomas syndrome.’ Here’s his epic response.

The Republican primary field continues to shape up with the long-anticipated entry of Senator Tim Scott (R-SC)  who made it official on Monday, announcing his White House campaign from Charleston Southern University in North Charleston, his alma mater, with an optimistic message that drew sour grapes from the ladies on “The View” who insulted him and ruled him out as a contender based on the color of his skin.

On Monday’s edition of the ABC daytime talk show, the topic of Scott’s candidacy came up, primarily because he is a black conservative, an unforgivable sin in the eyes of leftists who have little use for people of color who don’t willingly stay locked inside of the confines of the great Democratic Party plantation and the contempt for Scott from co-hosts Whoopi Goldberg and Sunny Hostin was a shameful example of how those of a certain political strip view successful, independent-minded Afrrican-Americans.

During his announcement, Scott spoke in inspirational terms of hope for young black Americans using his own life story as an example of what hard work and dedication can bring, a stark contrast to the Democrats’ bleak message of victimhood and blaming white people for their struggles.

While Scott was praised by co-hosts Ana Navarro who welcomed him because “there’s a dearth of melanin in the Republican Party” and Sara Haines hailed the diversity of the primary field which in addition to the Palmetto State senator, features two Indian-Americans in author and biotech entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy and former South Carolina governor and U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley, the two race-obsessed shrews had a much different take.

“I think one of the issues that Tim Scott has, is that he seems to think, ‘because I made it, everyone can make it.’ Ignoring again, the fact that he is the exception and not the rule. And until he is the rule — then he can stop talking about systemic racism,” huffed Hostin.

“He’s got Clarence Thomas Syndrome. That’s what it is,” Goldberg said, referring to the iconic Supreme Court justice whom she implied isn’t black enough to be down with the struggle.

“Look, he’s done some good stuff ok,” she added. “But if you’re running for president you gotta do more than that. You have to represent us as a nation, and then say and as a black man, this is also how I feel. But you can’t pretend that it’s not there, and that it’s not an issue for the people you’re running, for the party you’re running for.”

“They are, in part the problem,” Whoopi ranted. “This cat down in Florida, I mean, black people know there’s a problem…”

Hostin also suggested that Scott’s candidacy is doomed because, of course, it’s all about race as it always is with racists like her.

“I don’t know who his message is supposed to resonate with actually. He’s talking about victimhood and personal responsibility as if people aren’t taking responsibility for their own actions,” Hostin said.

“And it just seems to me that the Republican Party has a real racism problem. And I mean, those aren’t my words. Those are the words of Michael Steele in 2018, he was asked as the – the former RNC chairperson, was the first black person to hold that position. And he said there’s a real problem with racism within the Republican Party. And he should know,” she added, referring to the former Maryland lieutenant governor who headed up the RNC during the Obama years and has been a go-to guy for media as a GOP-trashing guest ever since.

“And so it seems to me that, you know, at this point, Tim Scott is only polling at 1.8 percent. Donald Trump is still the frontrunner at 56.3 percent. And I do one – Oh – people are surprised at that, but yes. And Ron DeSantis is at 19.4 percent. And it just seems to me that – And black people make up two percent of registered Republicans. So it is a very tiny fraction,” Hostin continued.

“I don’t know that the overwhelming base would vote for someone like Tim Scott,” she added, suggesting that the majority of Republicans are complete racists.

Scott reacted to the co-hosts’ remarks during a Monday appearance on Fox News.

“Meekness is not weakness. I believe in the Gospel. I believe Matthew 5:44 says ‘Love your enemies’ — [but] if you break in my house, I also believe in the Second Amendment’,” the senator told host Trey Gowdy, a former South Carolina congressman.

“We have to ignore the far left by disproving their lies by our actions. Here’s the funny thing: The host, Sunny, she wants to be judged by the content of her character, not the color of her skin. The fact of the matter is America is a story of evolution – a never told story of evolution in too many of our schools that are indoctrinating our kids instead of educating our kids,” he said.

“Every parent who wants a choice. Look to the Republican Party. Look to the GOP, but more importantly, look at Americans, African-Americans, Hispanic Americans – the majority of Americans all agree on school choice,” he continued.

Scott added of his venomous critics, “no question my life disproves the lies of the radical left” and their “culture of victimhood is eating away at the soul of America.”
