While Democrats are apparently not allowed to define a woman, they are still permitted to prescribe what it means to be a man.
Actor Jon Hamm narrated a new ad out on Monday that targets Sen. Josh Hawley, R-Mo. The ad ridicules Hawley’s book, “Manhood: The Masculine Virtues America Needs,” and promotes his Democratic opponent by questioning the Republican’s manhood.
“Manhood. You’d hope that means courage,” Hamm says in the spot. “Courage isn’t something you can give speeches or write a book about. It’s not sitting on the sidelines while others sacrifice, or denying help to those who did. It isn’t putting people down or trying to control them or using your own power for profit or ambition. In Missouri, you can’t fake courage. We’re the Show Me state. Courage is something you have to show us.”

The ad distorts Hawley’s legislative record and uses a split-second clip of the senator running through the halls of Congress on Jan. 6 that has been taken completely out of context by the left — the truth no longer matters in post-Obama America.
Back in March when he was still with Fox News, Tucker Carlson offered sorely missing context on the “coward” tape of Hawley running, as Democrats labeled the footage.
“The surveillance footage shows that famous clip was a sham, edited deceptively by the January 6 Committee. The clip was propaganda, not evidence,” Carlson said.
“The actual videotape shows that Hawley was one of many lawmakers being ushered out of the building by Capitol Hill police officers,” he added. “And, in fact, Hawley was at the back of the pack. The ‘coward’ tape was a lie — one of many from the January 6 Committee.”
As for the book, it’s not about Hawley’s manhood. Instead, the Republican “argues that the character of men and the male virtue that goes along with it is a necessary ingredient to a functioning society and a healthy, free republic,” as seen on Amazon.
Democratic candidate Lucas Kunce released the attack ad on Monday, billing himself as a man of “courage.”
