Kirk Cameron asks Elon Musk for a favor, and the Chief Twit comes through like a boss

Ask and ye shall receive.

Actor Kirk Cameron made a direct appeal to Chief Twit Elon Musk to get back into his old Twitter account, saying he has an important announcement for parents that he wants to make on the platform.

Having created a second Twitter account, the Growing Pains star explained in a video that he has not been on Twitter in 5 years and forgot his password, which resulted in him getting locked out of his old account — Cameron said he has no followers on the new account while his old account had 100,000.

The homeschool advocate then asked Musk to do him a solid and get him back in.

“I was told you were the guy to talk to about getting access to my old Twitter account. If you have a second, between launching rockets and advancing the electric car sector, I could use your help on how to get my account up and running,” the outspoken Christian wrote while sharing the video.

He also asked any viewers to retweet the video and tag Musk, and that appeal caught the attention of General Mike Flynn, the former Trump National Security Advisor who was set up by the FBI.

Flynn tweeted to his 1.1 million followers: “Let’s help @KCameron4real & @KirkCameron Re-establish his platform. His message for strong families was always a positive message. @elonmusk I’m asking for a friend!”

One way or another, Musk appeared to get the message:

Cameron is also an author and he will be releasing his second children’s book on June 1, which coincides with the LGBTQ+ celebration of Pride Month.

The book is titled, “Pride Comes Before the Fall.”

“This is a story called Pride Comes Before the Fall, and it’s a story of a tiger named Valor and his partner named Kevin. They need to learn the lesson of humility,” Cameron said to a group of children gathered at the library over the weekend, according to The Christian Post.

In the face of drag queen story hours, Cameron has been challenging libraries to allow him to do a reading of his first book, “As You Grow,” a fun story about growing up that teaches biblical wisdom — par for the course in today’s age, the actor has faced hostility from many libraries.

Rochambeau Public Library in Providence, Rhode Island, is one such library, telling publisher Brave Books, “We are a very queer-friendly library. Our messaging does not align.”
