Bud Light now taking fire from BOTH sides for Dylan Mulvaney fiasco as Chicago gay bars nix sales

Alcoholic beverage giant Anheuser-Busch was severely burned by backlash over the ill-fated decision of a “woke” marketing exec to bring in transgender TikTok influencer Dylan Mulvaney to pitch its Bud Light brand and now another log has been thrown onto the roaring dumpster fire by the perpetually aggrieved LGBTQ+ community.

With outraged customers boycotting Bud Light over the Mulvaney ads, the company is now getting it from both ends with those who feel that it has abandoned the creepy TikToker joining the boycotts including several Chicago gay bars that are no longer selling the suds out of protest.

2Bears Tavern Group, which owns four bars in Chi-town cited the “abandonment of its support” as the reason why it would longer serve Anheuser-Busch products at its locations, citing the statement of CEO Brendan Whitworth who dared to suggest that the company didn’t mean to take sides in the left-wing cultural revolution that is being waged on America.

“We never intended to be part of a discussion that divides people. We are in the business of bringing people together over a beer,” Whitworth said in his April 14 statement, fighting words for the owners of the quartet of Windy City homosexual hangouts.

In a statement posted to social media, 2Bears announced that its bars were “discontinuing all Anheuser-Busch InBev products, including Busch Light, Bud Light and Goose Island 312.”

“Anheuser-Busch’s decision to drop its support of Mulvaney in response to ignorant and hateful objections by some of its customers shows how little Anheuser-Busch cares about the LGBTQIA+ community, and in particular transgender people, who have been under unrelenting attack in this country,” the group stated.

“CEO Brendan Whitworth’s excuse that Anheuser-Busch ‘never intended to be part of a discussion that divides people’ was tantamount to saying that the rights and safety of transgender people are topics worthy of debate. They are not.” the statement read.

“You cannot claim to support the LGBTQIA+ community if you don’t support the T. And saying that the rights and safety of transgender people are controversial says loud and clearly that you don’t support us,” read the statement which is a testament to the alphabet mafia’s solidarity with the minuscule, protected transgender demographic that serves as a safe space for pedophiles and groomers.

The statement also ludicrously accused Anheuser-Busch of enabling the sowing of “hate and division” for its perceived throwing of Mulvaney under the bus.

“We gave Anheuser-Busch some time to revisit its position hoping it would realize it acted in haste. It did not,” read the statement. “Instead, it went further in the wrong direction, apparently seeking to punish the people who came up with the plan to recognize Mulvaney in the first place by placing several of them on leave. That speaks volumes as to how far AB will go to placate those in this country who sow hate and division.”

It was announced that Harvard-educated Alissa Heinerscheid – the brains behind the Mulvaney debacle – has taken a leave of absence and the company is now stating that it was never a formal ad campaign to begin with.

“This was one single can given to one social media influencer,” the company stated in a recent letter sent to wholesalers. “It was not made for production or sale to the general public. This can is not a formal campaign or advertisement.”

The statement is only one more example of how any deviation from the complete and unconditional support for the transgender movement will be punished but Anheuser-Busch has nobody to blame but themselves for a mess of their own making.
