What in the world? A video of a seemingly confused President Joe Biden was making the rounds online Monday and left people wondering if this was a senior moment playing out before their eyes.
While it’s not clear, the 80-year-old president appears to be at a White House event honoring National Small Business Week, where he was set to deliver remarks. It’s hard to say what’s going on in the video, which was taken from afar, but it appeared that Biden was unsure what to do or where to go — a woman in uniform can be seen speaking to Biden before he wanders up to the lectern. In a classic old man yells at the clouds moment, he can be seen speaking angrily to no one in particular, perhaps someone in the crowd.
It’s hard to tell, but the optics suggest he was as angry as an old man trying to send back soup in a deli.

Biden wasted little time getting political at the Small Business Week event, attacking Republicans as Senate Democrats refuse to move on a debt limit bill recently passed by the GOP-controlled House.
“For over 200 years, America has never, ever, ever failed to pay its debt. To put it in the capital — in colloquial terms, America is not a deadbeat nation. We have never, ever failed to meet the debt,” the president said. “Now, as a result, we’re one of the most respected nations in the world. We pay our bills, and we should do so without reckless hostage-taking from some of the MAGA Republicans in Congress.”
Then again, considering his own actions, Americans have to wonder if some space aliens have taken Ol’ Joe hostage.
