Efforts to paint conservatives as radical, violent extremists continued Friday as MSNBC’s Chris Hayes took aim at Fox News host Tucker Carlson and his pro-Second Amendment remarks in the wake of former President Donald Trump’s indictment to ask, “Who are you gonna shoot?”

To many, the left is already engaged in a cold civil war with conservatives and has been for some time via a two-tiered system of justice that, like the progressive government wielding it, picks winners and losers. The paramount example of this has been the president whose indictment was seen as just the latest in the series of witch hunts in his ongoing political persecution.
Seeming to side with “Stalinist” former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) that Trump is guilty until proven innocent, Friday on “All In,” Hayes took umbrage with Fox News’ coverage of Thursday’s breaking indictment that surgically avoided the broader points.
In a brief montage, he aired snippets of Carlson, Fox News host Jesse Watters, BlazeTV host Jason Whitlock and American Greatness senior fellow Ned Ryun, to paint the network as promoting violence and said, “Some of Fox’s most prominent voices are also doing their best to whip Trump supporters into a frenzy.”
Watters had remarked, “This thing opens up a whole Pandora’s box here, and I don’t really think the left understands what they’re getting themselves into. This, of all things to do, on a charge about this small that no other prosecutor is even considering bringing, really lights a fire under this country when we really don’t need it.”
Likewise, Whitlock reacted to the perceived “communist, Marxist” actions by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg (D) to arrest political opposition by declaring, “I’m ready for whatever’s next and I hope every other man out there watching the show, I hope you’re ready for whatever’s next. If that’s what they want, let’s get to it.”
Ryun had finished pointing out the law was being used as a weapon and that “Democrats are launching nukes at us,” when he suggested of conservatives, “If they don’t wake up and don’t know what time it is, we will find ourselves on that path to…one-party state and authoritarian government.”
“Yeah, probably not the best thing to give up your AR-15,” Carlson replied. “And I think most people know that.”
Despite the obvious context that Americans should be adamantly opposed to disarmament for self-defense against further escalating government overreach, Hayes framed his take that conservative media was inciting violence and let his question hang on the air.
“Just to be clear, Tucker said, ‘Probably not the best time to give up your AR-15s. Most people know that.’ Why not? Why is he saying that? The implication is that you have the AR-15 so that you could shoot at, kill, maim, who? Fellow citizens? Agents of the state? Why do you have them? Who are you gonna shoot?” he asked.
Meanwhile, as had happened when Black Lives Matter protests did billions in damage while being called “mostly peaceful protests,” corporate media hyperbole over “threats to democracy” when speaking about the Capitol breach in Washington, D.C. on Jan. 6, 2021, were nowhere to be found when leftists breached multiple state capitols this week to promote their extremist agendas.
