Megyn Kelly offers hilarious response to ‘Trump is like a hot chick’ tweet

Radio host Megyn Kelly piled on to another commentator’s analysis likening former President Donald Trump to a “hot chick” with some thoughts on Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R), President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris.

Of the aforementioned, Trump remains the only announced top-tier candidate vying for a 2024 nomination and his frontrunner status has led many to contend the primary is a foregone conclusion and competitors should step aside.

Whether or not that plays out, even the president’s supporters have shown themselves to be dissatisfied with his fervent attacks toward DeSantis that carried on even when his focus may have been better turned toward Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg (D) working toward his possible indictment.

Saturday morning, well before Trump took the stage for a rally in Waco, Texas, John Ziegler took to Twitter to weigh in on his view of the president’s most ardent supporters by asserting, “Trump is like a hot chick who gives a normal guy (GOP base) the best screwing of his life 1 time (2016) & then that guy spends the next decade putting up with her high maintenance BS, thinking [that] she’s ‘the one,’ & that any day now that 1 great moment will surely be repeated.”

Kelly reacted to the post with a quote tweet that read, “This is funny. So DeSantis can’t woo w/his spreadsheet (see earlier tweet) & Trump is the hot chick u had a great romp w/but u can’t recapture the magic. Meanwhile, Biden may/may not be alive & Kamala is stuck on repeat in one long Kindergarten lecture flanked by cackles.”

Earlier, she had shared a piece from David Marcus writing for Human Events theorizing why DeSantis was underperforming in some polls.

“But just as one cannot successfully woo a woman by showing her a spreadsheet of his good qualities,” the post read, “a candidate needs some magic, some charm, to woo voters.”

The comical analysis, perhaps too true to be funny in the case of the current administration, left some applauding Kelly and considering it “the best take on modern US politics.”

While many others would step up to defend their preferred candidate from the lot, large swaths of the most MAGA among us were audibly disenchanted with the exaggerated lengths Trump has taken to attack DeSantis in particular, especially prior to a campaign announcement.

Later Saturday, when the president appeared at his rally before a Texas crowd said to contain thousands, a laugh line was met with relative quiet as fans sat back and listened to Trump claim the potential rival Republican had “begged” for help.

“So he came and really wanted it,” the president said of seeking an endorsement. “I said you can’t win, can you? ‘Sir, if you endorse me, I’ll win. Please, please, sir, endorse me.’ And I said alright, let’s give it a shot.”
