A dispute while boarding a Frontier Airlines flight resulted in one Texas woman allegedly biting a police officer as fellow passengers captured the profanity-laced rant and the dramatic aftermath on video.

Tuesday at Miami International Airport, passengers en route from Florida to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania were delayed and deplaned when 24-year-old Simone Bryna Kim of Killeen, Texas began threatening to beat up another passenger. Though no details were provided on how the altercation began, video from one passenger captured Kim’s heated words as well as the moments five officers appeared to be hauling her across the tarmac to their vehicles.

“I’m whatever you want. I’ll beat you the f*ck up. What you tryin’ to be on?” she could be heard at one point while other unidentified passengers stood between Kim and the target of her unhinged verbal assault. “One thing, I’m going to rock your sh*t.”

“If you’re real, show me what’s up. I’m going to beat you the f*ck up on this sh*t. I guarantee you. I guarantee you,” she continued.

When a crew member asked Kim to leave, the woman refused and police were dispatched to the scene. It was then that WPLG reported all passengers were told to return to the terminal and the unruly Texan was placed under arrest.

According to the police report, she reacted by “pushing, pulling and tensing” and was even said to have dug her fingernails into an officer’s elbow, allegedly causing scratches.

Her struggle continued and she reportedly kicked one of the arresting officers, nearly sending them down the stairs. Later, she could be seen squirming and almost breaking loose as officers carried her across the tarmac.

At that point, Kim was said to have tried to bite three of the officers while kicking at another placing leg restraints on her. After being transported to the airport police station, she was brought to Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center where she was released on bond.

Frontier Airlines released its own statement regarding the incident and said, “Yesterday, during the boarding process for Flight 2326 from Miami to Philadelphia, two customers got into a verbal altercation which resulted in one of the customers being asked to deplane. Upon her refusal, assistance was requested from local law enforcement. We defer to the Miami-Dade Police Department for additional information.”

Though it was unclear what Kim’s purpose for travel was, many wondered whether or not the altercation was somehow linked to the increased levels of violence occurring around nearby Miami Beach where thousands of “out of control” travelers had flocked for Spring Break, leading to a declared state of emergency.

Kim faced felony battery on a police officer along with resisting an officer with violence. In addition, she was charged with three misdemeanors for assaulting an officer as well as one for trespassing.
