A California school district meeting devolved into mayhem as a woke black man railed against banning Critical Race Theory and a woman reportedly told him to “get out of the country,” causing the audience to erupt in angry shouting with chaos ensuing.
The man, called, “Deon,” aggressively criticized the board’s hiring of an anti-Critical Race Theory consultant. The livestream on Wednesday’s proceedings showed the man calling the Temecula Valley Unified School District (TVUSD) on its approach to Critical Race Theory as “asinine.”
The TVUSD board voted to ban Critical Race Theory in December according to the Press-Enterprise. It also approved allocating $15,000 in taxpayer funds for sessions with anti-CRT consultant Christopher Arend.
Deon slammed both decisions and asserted that “[CRT] isn’t even taught in any K-through-12 classroom in the United States of America.”
“It is disappointing to see people with a problem with history being taught,” Deon continued. “It is widely recognized by the vast majority of experts that bringing CRT into the K to 12 classrooms is just as outlandish as bringing calculus to the first-grade classroom. Neither idea is viable or credible.”
“Your continued, blatant, willful ignorance of the black experience in this country is not only shameful but also detrimental to the education and growth of our children,” he raged as people in the audience applauded.
UPDATE: Temecula Valley Unified School District held their CRT event tonight. After a black community member made a public comment, he was told by a white woman to leave the country if he didn’t like it.

The man quoted Frederick Douglass’ “The Meaning of the Fourth of July for the Negro” speech before running past his permitted time and then returning to his seat.
That’s when a woman reportedly told him to “get out of the country.”
In the clip, Deon can be heard saying “if I feel that way, why don’t I get out of the country?”
Board president Joseph Komrosky warned Deon that he was being given a “first warning” and would be asked to leave if he was given a second.
“She said, ‘Get out of the country,'” Deon shouted. “She told me to get out of the country. My family has been here since August 16, 1619.”
“Sir, that’s enough,” Komrosky stated, before requesting that the man be escorted from the building.
Those attending erupted in shouts and chants as board president Joseph Komrosky asked for Deon to be escorted from the building.
“If you like, the whole auditorium can leave,” Komrosky informed those who were making a scene, calling for the woman to be removed as well.
Board member Allison Barclay told Komrosky that “if that woman said that to him, she needs to be excused.” Two board members walked out over the altercation.
The mob just disrupted the Temecula Valley USD CRT workshop with a pro-1619 public commenter getting extremely confrontational and the others shouting us as "a racist panel". The two union-backed trustees then conveniently protested by leaving the meeting w/o a quorum. Link⬇️ pic.twitter.com/QcMpdDUpWY

A TikTok video shows Deon being escorted out of the building as the crowd shouted for the board to “take the woman [out instead].”
As chaos swept the meeting, board members stood up from their seats at the front of the room as the audience yelled for them to “do your jobs.”
According to Newsweek, board member Steven Schwartz recounted that the woman was also eventually asked to leave.
He confirmed to Newsweek that the woman “made a comment to the effect that he should get out of the country.”
“The meeting devolved into chaos, and the board president declared a recess,” he added.
“It was a sad day seeing our community so divided on such a non-issue in our district that was contrived to push forward a political agenda and distract from our true work, which is providing high-quality education and learning in our award-winning schools,” Barclay told Newsweek.
