Former President Donald J. Trump pushed back against Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg and New York prosecutors as he faces a looming indictment over a “crime” that he insists does not exist.
The George Soros-backed Bragg has rocked the political world by going after the ex-POTUS over a 2016 “hush money” payment to pornographic movie “actress” Stormy Daniels with rumors that an indictment from a grand jury is imminent, along with the possibility that Trump will be handcuffed and perp walked like a common criminal.
On Sunday, Trump took to his Truth Social media platform to slam his persecutors, insist that any payment to the smut queen didn’t even amount to a misdemeanor – as some of his defenders have said – and flipped the script on Bragg and his abusive legal goon squad, calling for the investigators to be investigated for election interference.
“When Alvin Bragg first attained office, he made it very clear that, like many other prosecutors, there was no case against Donald J. Trump,” wrote the former president. “Then the Biden Administration, the Democrats, and the Fake News Media began pushing him, and pushing him hard, and low and behold he said that there might just be a case after all. I knew what that meant — He was being pushed to do something that shouldn’t be done. He wasn’t willing to stand up to Soros and the Marxists that are destroying our Country!”

“There was no ‘misdemeanor’ here either. There was no crime, period. All other of the many Democrat law enforcement officers that looked at it, took a pass. So did Cy Vance, and so did Bragg. But then, much latter, he changed his mind,” the 2024 GOP frontrunner added. “Gee, I wonder why? Prosecutorial Misconduct and Interference with an Election. Investigate the Investigators!”

Trump later threw another log onto the fire with a blazing all-caps Truth Social post calling for Bragg himself to face accountability.
“IT IS THE DISTRICT ATTORNEY OF MANHATTAN WHO IS BREAKING THE LAW BY USING THE FAKE AND FULLY DISCREDITED TESTIMONY (EVEN BY THE SDNY!) OF A CONVICTED LIAR, FELON AND JAILBIRD, MICHAEL COHEN, TO INCREDIBLY PERSECUTE, PROSECUTE, AND INDICT A FORMER PRESIDENT, AND NOW LEADING (BY FAR!) PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE, FOR A CRIME THAT DOESN’T EXIST. ALVIN BRAGG SHOULD BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR THE CRIME OF “INTERFERENCE IN A PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION,” he wrote.

Democrats and their media stooges have been in a state of hysteria over Trump’s claim that he will be arrested on Tuesday and his call for supporters to turn out to protest what would be an unprecedented and escalatory move against a former United States president.
“Whatever the Grand Jury decides, its consideration makes clear: no one is above the law, not even a former President of the United States,” tweeted former House speaker Nancy Pelosi. “The former president’s announcement this morning is reckless: doing so to keep himself in the news & to foment unrest among his supporters.”

The Manhattan DA also reportedly responded to Trump’s call for protests.
“Dear Colleagues: I’m sure you have seen the ongoing press attention and public comments surrounding an ongoing investigation by this office. Please know that your safety is our top priority. We have full confidence in our outstanding security staff and investigators, along with our great OCA and NYPD colleagues, and will continue to coordinate with all of them,” Bragg wrote in an email reviewed and reported by Politico.
“We do not tolerate attempts to intimidate our office or threaten the rule of law in New York. Our law enforcement partners will ensure that any specific or credible threats against the office will be fully investigated and that the proper safeguards are in place so all 1,600 of us have a secure work environment,” he added.
