Crazed Keith Olbermann calls for Tucker’s arrest, says ‘Q Shaman’ lawyer had tapes all along

Former MSNBC commentator and perpetually unhinged Keith Olbermann released his latest call for the arrest of Fox News host Tucker Carlson and this time, he is alleging “obstruction of justice.”

Utilizing his preferred format of standing unnecessarily close to the camera, Olbermann previewed his Monday podcast wearing his most authoritative tie-dyed polo. Harkening to calls for the release of Jacob Chansley, the so-called “QAnon Shaman” after Carlson aired footage that broke the narrative fed by corporate media and the sham Jan. 6 committee for over two years, the talking head made his case with the most assuredly unbiased argument of the prosecution.

“Free the ‘Q Shaman.’ No! Arrest Tucker Carlson,” Olbermann said. “A new government document, memorandum 689, submitted in a different Jan. 6 case yesterday proves that by Sept. 2021, the ‘Q Shaman,’ Jacob Chansley, and his attorneys, had all but 10 seconds of all Jan. 6 video.”

“Jacob Chansley’s attorneys have had the video for 535 days. Nothing was withheld. Tucker Carlson lied. No one was falsely imprisoned. Tucker Carlson lied. There was no false flag. Tucker Carlson lied,” Olbermann went on before dragging in House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) for providing access to the videos. “And what is it called when you and the speaker of the House deliberately try to interfere in the Jan. 6 prosecutions by lying? It’s called obstruction of justice. Arrest Tucker Carlson. Arrest Kevin McCarthy.”

The document Olbermann cited appeared to be a court filing submitted Sunday in U.S. District Court regarding the case of Proud Boy member Dominic Pezzola who is seeking a dismissal of his case “due to recent revelations on the Tucker Carlson show.” The 10-page document explains the government’s position on why Pezzola’s case should not be dismissed and contends that “With the exception of one CCTV camera (where said footage totaled approximately 10 seconds and implicated an evacuation route), all of the footage played on television was disclosed to defendant Pezzola (and defendant Chansley) by September 24, 2021.”

Aside from the obvious bias that the document was filed by the prosecution against claims that they had “been monitoring attorney/client communications of defendants, destroying evidence[,] and doctoring and fabricating evidence involving confidential human sources,” notably absent from the document’s timeline was the fact that Chansley had agreed to a plea deal three weeks prior to that date.

Reacting to Olbermann’s ravings, others mocked the credibility of the fallen pundit whose only outlet is his social media soapbox.

Previously, Olbermann had demanded the arrest of Carlson following the 2020 presidential election as both the Fox News host and then-President Donald Trump reacted to issues of election integrity. He then re-upped his call as the primetime commentator questioned the United States’ actions leading up to and after the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

Of course, the internet troll wasn’t alone in trying to belittle Carlson’s reporting on Jan. 6 as the morally compromised team at The Lincoln Project jumped on the corporate media bandwagon.

“Name someone who’s lied to you more than Tucker Carlson. I’m still thinking,” they posted.

Asked and answered, the responses came pouring in and were likely not what they had been anticipating.
